The night clerk was sleeping when we arrived, we had to bang on the counter to wake him. The laundry facilities is a janky washer and dryer that only one person can use at a time and they close it an hour before what is posted. The dryer had some kind of oil in the drum that ruined two loads of new clothes and the manager did absolutely nothing to compensate. The pool was closed for more than half our stay, breakfast was all cheap carbohydrates and not much for anyone on any kind of special diet (but that I can overlook) I typically don’t complain over a few “less than ideal” amenities but this place was absolutely disappointing.

I dont like the fact they use Expedia who after a simple incorrect date was entered, REFUSED to cancel and apply the charges to the correct date. They even had the audacity to blame Baymont by Windom for the stubborness of the change. As a result EXPEDIA will no longer be on our phones as an app to be used at all. If I ever want to stay at another Baymont ever again. Ill go homeless. I think its a shame that Baymont uses and profits from the use of Expedia.

Everthing was clean, neighborhood not so good. Room was right under the steps going to the 2nd floor, door slammed alot along with people going up and down the steps

The first impression was the stink on arrival. I thought it must be near a cattle yard but was told that it was the sewer. We were given the wrong room or the bed was a queen instead of a king. The cleaning carts greeted our arrival. The plumbing leaked filling the bath tub about 6 inches. There is no elevator to the second floor.

But, good lighting. One can actually read with these lights. Good sound insulation. Overall, definitely a budget motel; a step above, say, a Motel 6.

Take my advice and stay elsewhere! We heard drag racing out front for days. The AC is old and barely worked. We checked in an midnight and the front desk never mentioned you have to REQUEST housekeeping!! After 2 days we assumed we would receive it since there was barely any supplies there to begin with (including toilet paper) we hadto argue with the clerk to get clean towels and tp. The hotel says "newly remodeled " but a lot of the old filth remains.

We picked this hotel as it is close to an area where my relatives live so was convenient. We didn't have any negative issues, the hotel is in relatively good condition as it is an older facility. Staff was friendly and helpful.
