"The home and gardens are beautiful. The host is friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and we loved the easy walk into town. It is a wonderful place to visit. "
"Overall a great experience. David and Steven were such inviting hosts. I’ve already checked off all of the superlative boxes, but must also give kudos for the outstanding breakfast. Really made our 1st day In Maine a memorable one!"
"A very well appointed property with a very nice staff and many rooms have water views with a nice veranda for morning coffee. Right in downtown and easy to walk to restaurants and shopping."

"Stayed for lobsterfest which was conveniently right next door. Plenty of delicious local foods/restaurants/bars. Right by the docks where you can sail the Morning in Maine sunrise/sunset tour. Also very close to Owls Head for lighthouse about 10 min drive and a sandy beach for swimming about 10 min walk. 30 minutes from Marshall Point lighthouse if you want to visit Forrest Gump site. Accomodated for very late check in due to flight changes and understanding of medical emergency for late check out. Wonderful staff. 100% would stay again. "
"Great area near Lobster Festival. Very walkable to activities and shopping along the way. Loved the balcony room and could watch the parade on Saturday morning from it. Breakfast was great with wonderful selections and great coffee. Will stay there again when attending the festival."
"250 Main is truly like "stepping into contemporary Europe" as the property is stunning and eclectic. The staff were very accommodating and informative during our stay. The parking situation is "amenable", but a result of our stay coinciding with the back-to-back Lobster Fest and Maine Boat Show weekends. We never resolved the in-room viewing options as "Live TV" was dead, and the connectivity which allowed for streaming was non-existent. It forced us to immerse ourselves into the ambience of the property and that is exactly what one should do when visiting 250 MAIN...... "

"My stay was perfect. The house had everything I needed for a longer stay. It has a great location with the harbor trail right in front of the house making it a short walk to stores, restaurants, museums, and parks. The view of the harbor was beautiful, and the sunrises were spectacular. "
"The 2-bedroom property was spacious and very clean with a well-appointed kitchen and comfortable living area, located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Rockland. We had parking behind our building, but didn’t need our car unless we wanted to venture out of town. We went during the week of the Maine Lobster Festival and had easy access, within walking distance, to everything Rockland had to offer: the lobster festival at Harbor Park, the ferry to Vinalhaven and North Haven, art galleries, museums and lots of restaurants and shopping. Our host, Jennifer, was very attentive and answered any questions that I had. Her property management office is directly across the street, but we kept in touch through text messaging. My daughters and I agreed that we would definitely stay there again."
