"For 20 years our group of ‘girls’ has made an annual visit to Center Parcs but this year we decided to try somewhere different. We were so happy with our choice as Stonelands exceeded all our expectations. Set in beautiful grounds the property was warm, clean and equipped with absolutely everything we could need to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We loved the quirky decor. Stonelands was perfect as a base to explore the local amenities but was also fabulous as somewhere to come back to, to relax in the hot tub or curl up on one of the comfy sofas with a glass of wine. Would highly recommend."

"I was staying Across The Road in another part of the hotel the pub side no one showed me to my room and I spent 25 minutes looking for it when I finally arrived. It was cold and the bed was not that comfy."

"Japonica is very well equipped and perfect accommodation for a holiday. We went in winter so didn’t use outside but inside was super cosy and great for family socialising as the kitchen and lounge area are together. It is on quite a main road and not scenic from the house but only a short walk into the very picturesque village Would recommend this property"

"Wasn’t a hotel room was like a cheap motel out side shed , poorly maintained, bathroom was fitted by a blind man , no restaurant although advertised, feel really misled by the advert on here , "

"The property and adjacent garden area were ideal for a weekend stay for a get together we my old school friends and their families. The property was well stocked with all the items you could need for a stay there e.g. pots, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery and having a dishwasher was a bonus. The beds were not luxurious (a basic folding metal frame), however, despite this they were surprisingly comfortable and I slept really well there. "

"We had a lovely time staying at The Stables over the New Year period. There was plenty of space for two adults, a baby and dog - a cosy but not cramped space. The place was decorated nicely throughout and we probably benefited from being one of the first to stay there, so everything is fresh. Great quality kitchen! Saw a previous review about an uncomfortable sofa and we were mindful of this, but in our opinion it was absolutely fine. It may be on the smaller side but if it were bigger then it would be disproportionate to the space, so no complaints there. David was an excellent host and very promptly resolved an incredibly minor hiccup regarding coffee pods. Would stay again!"
