"There was limited hot water to shower, the TV service STOPPED working about 24 hours into a 2 day stay and the bass from a nearby venue thumped until after 11p at night. Staff acted like they were oblivious or I was imagining it when I complained, but I heard many guests at check out talking about the same things. We had planned to stay an extra day because we normally like this hotel but this weekend was not their best work AT ALL."

"We were happy to be able to check in early. The walls are very thin. The neighbor and room was very loud. I think this has to do with the fact that there is no carpet in this hotel, not in the rooms or in the hallways. The room was nice large, spacious, and comfortable. Due to the better chain of hotels I was disappointed there was not a shuttle service to the downtown area."

"I can’t believe this run down hotel was Expedia. Cigarette stains and burns on refrigerator couch dresser and tub and shower curtain. Stains on bed spread and couch. I would advise against staying here or using Expedia since neither was a help and i ended up spending double my money and booking a room elsewhere. The staff and there help when i came down to change rooms was just as bad as the room quoting “that is our suite it is our best room” or “ i can’t help you we are sold out”. Just be careful because since i didn’t get the insurance to protect my stay Expedia was no help either. This truly almost messed up my whole plan off getting my elderly mother to my little brothers college graduation. I am never using neither Expedia nor that Quality inn Old town in Virginia again."

"We wanted to be in the Hampton area for a concert. Hyatt was perfect, the room was so clean and the staff was top tier. The only thing I did not like was the food. The wings were a nightmare, my Caesar salad was trash. But our bartender was so kindled. Mr. Dana was so professional and kind. We will be back I just won’t order food lol. They have these peanut butter cookies though they are to die for!! Overall great place to stay!! And affordable"

"My family stayed here for one night and did enjoy our night. The room had a strange odor like water damage occurred somewhere. The bathroom was dirty stains were on the toilet seat meaning no one clean prior to us stay or did a rush job. This place is going downhill. I will not stay here again. Worst experience ever plus I seen a family in the hallway that had to was hours before checking in due to their room not being ready. This company needs new leadership, front desk employees and cleaning staff."
