"We just wanted to personally thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family this weekend. We have stayed in many places over the years traveling for fishing tournaments, but this has truly been one of the most special and memorable places we’ve ever stayed.From the moment we arrived, we felt at peace. The outside area is absolutely breathtaking — the pergola lights, fire pit, lake views, and especially the jasmine vines filling the air with the sweetest smell made it feel almost magical. Then walking inside and hearing K-Love playing honestly brought tears to my eyes because that’s exactly what our family listens to at home. Every detail — the cozy rustic atmosphere, the uplifting quotes, Bible verses, and the warm welcoming feeling throughout the house — made this place feel like so much more than just a rental.Our son was fishing in a state tournament. Having a peaceful, faith-filled place to come back to after long days on the water has truly been a blessing. It feels comforting, uplifting, and genuinely like a home away from home.Thank you for creating such a beautiful environment for families like ours. You can feel the love and care that has been poured into this place in every little detail. The only thing we don’t love is having to leave on Sunday! We will absolutely be thinking about staying here again for future tournaments near Mountain Island Lake.Thank you again"

"Only down side is the shower door would only open from the back side...once you reached in to turn on, expect a cold blast and suck it up until you can adjust the handle! Otherwise, everything was awesome!"

"I do understand they allow pets. Room(s) had extremely stained carpet, (1) room had BAD PET ODORS, Light switch by bed had gross residue. Breakfast was mediocre. Staff was nice, and helpful. However I had to keep going back to front desk on checkin because they hadn't activated the key card on first room, and the room they switched me to! Elevator that night had what looked like pet urine on floor in the corner!"
