"Listing photos vs reality are misleading. The property is really run down. Just a few issues experienced during one night stay: Bathroom sink is missing pieces so the water stays out horizontally all over you and the bathroom, the tub doesn't drain so you are standing in ankle deep water while showering, cockroaches crawling out of the "clean" towels. And the hot tub cover is literally falling apart with pieces hanging off, outdoor lights and fixtures are broken of and hanging from wires. I...

"Nice clean room. Bed was comfortable. The light in the bathroom was very dim. Parking was bad. You have to walk a ways to get to your room. Not much for food around the area. The breakfast was good. Lots of choices. Staff was nice."

"The staff is super helpful, rooms are spacious, facility is huge so we walked around with no issues for outdoor exercise, laundry room, exercise room, restaurant ( we did not eat there other than breakfast buffet, which is fine) I noticed loads of people do come there for dining & the bar. I do recommend this hotel, great location & value."

"We really enjoyed our 2 day stay at this hotel. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. Nice sitting area and separate bedroom. They had cookies and popcorn every afternoon and the lobby was beautifully decorated for fall and felt very welcoming. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good too. A tasty selection of food. We would definitely return. The one drawback is that the hotel is at the far end of town but it was also a positive because it was quiet! The pool and outside areas were very well maintained. We highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Carlsbad New Mexico."

"The hotel has several upgrades that I appreciated, such as the laminate floors and the spacious shower. Parking is convenient, and the hotel is located just 20 minutes from Carlsbad Caverns National Park. However, the breakfast could have offered a better variety; I missed having fruit. On a positive note, the staff at the front desk is very kind and accommodating. Overall, it was a pleasant stay despite the breakfast options."
