"Unheard of for us, but we decided to come back to this hotel after a week holiday last year. Everything about this hotel is superb. Reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, cleaning staff. My only gripe is that we asked for a room upgrade (as an Expedia platinum member) but were told that all the higher grade rooms were full. This wasn’t the case as we could clearly see that the suite we had last year was unoccupied for the duration of our stay. "

"I’ve stayed dozens of times through vacation and holiday rental apps and never encountered a more dissatisfying stay.The listing said no AC, not a problem we are visiting in March - but didn’t say no heat - a fact that would have changed our reservation. There is NO heat at all. The homeowner did return after check in with a space heater but after the first time plugging it in the circuits popped and we lost power and subsequently each time we tried a different plug same thing happened. Turning off all the lights we tried to make dinner and the circuits blew again and we gave up.The following morning we were packed up and waiting in our car for the walk through and return of our deposit. Know that you will need to have 300 Euro cash deposit that is held until check out and walk through. The listing stated a deposit may be required and listed credit, debit or cash but only cash is an option."
