A charming apartment located on the first and top floor of a small, secure, and very quiet building—you’ll be just a stone’s throw from the beautiful City of Carcassonne and local shops. Small shops are nearby, and the apartment is less than 2 km on foot from the heart of city centre. During the summer, the city comes alive with numerous performances, particularly as part of the Carcassonne Festival. The Canal du Midi, an UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Medieval City, is just 1.5 km away: hiking, mountain biking, and river cruises. The Mediterranean Sea is about a 45-minute drive away. The first castles of Cathar Country are about 30 minutes away.
