Romantic Cabin w/ Hot Tub Near Carbondale

The Couple Retreat is designed solely for one couple. No pets, no kids, nobody but you and your significant other. It's a place where you can relax, reconnect and rejuvenate. This cabin has everything you need to make your stay restful and soothing, with 750 square feet of living space all on one level. It offers one beautifully furnished bedroom with a queen bed, large dresser and a flat screen TV and DVD. The great room has a cozy stone, gas fireplace with a large flat screen TV above it. A comfortable couch for lounging space. The full size kitchen has beautiful hickory cabinets stocked with everything you need to cook and serve your meals. With a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher, you'll be able to prepare wonderful meals if you choose. Of course we also provide a toaster and coffee maker. For those of you who enjoy a steak or burger from the grill, you'll find a charcoal grill on the screened in back porch. For added convenience we provide a washer and dryer as well.

And the best part, we just put in a BRAND New hot tub!!! Perfect for the two of you! Soak away all your worries.

If you want to enjoy Mother Nature all you have to do is step outside. You'll love watching the deer graze while kicking back in the rocking chairs on the covered front porch. In the winter just snuggle up in front of the fireplace. We provide WiFi and movies.

As soon as we walked in, we were in awe of how adorable the cabin was. It is a very modern and comfy cabin. The surrounding property was so peaceful. We would definitely stay here again! I wish we had more time to stay longer. We spent a lot of time at Touch of Nature this weekend and the cabin was a quick, easy drive. Watch out for the deer at night!

Great Getaway

The Couples Retreat Cabin was a great get away for my wife and I. The Cabin was Clean and had everything we needed to relax and have a great time. They views are great and all kinds of wildlife in the area. The hot tub was very relaxing as well.

A peaceful retreat

The husband and i were looking for a cute cabin near the Shawnee forest to get away for a few days to rest and relax and we found it. It was quiet and far enough from town that it made the hustle and bustle of life seem distant.I would recommend.

Winter Cabin Getaway

Very nice, cozy cabin in a quiet rural area. The cabin is located at the end of a road next to a farm that had peacocks, turkeys, and other animals which we could see from the road. Since we enjoy outdoor activities, we liked that the cabin is not far from Giant City and Shawnee National Forest. The online Welcome Guidebook that the host provided was very helpful.

Secluded, but close to everything

I stayed at the cabin for 2 nights while working out of town. When I arrived, there were several deer out front. My stay was peaceful and quiet. It was exactly what I needed after a day at work.

Best cabin so far!

We booked this cabin for the end of our honeymoon. The cabin was amazing The view was amazing. It was so clean when we went we got there. The host Allison who was awesome too even turned on the hot tub so it was all ready for us when we got there. We're already planning our trip back there next year for our one year anniversary.

"Just what we needed."

These are the words me and my wife keep repeating after our stay at Couples Retreat. No stress, no mess this place was perfect. The hustle and bustle of life was put on hold, and we were able to just focus on us uninterrupted for a few days.

A true Gem!

This cute little cabin was Everything and more. Beautiful location nestled in the Shawnee forest just like a Hallmark setting! Cabin has a rustic feel, but all the amenities you need! Was very clean and we were impressed with how organized it was using QR codes for instructions! We enjoyed seeing several deer and the country feel of hearing turkeys and roosters. The best was being on a path for the winery trail- so much fun!! We loved this place and will.be back. This cabin is a true Gem!!

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. What a wonderful get away. We have never be in the area before. I would have never thought there would be so much to do and see near this cabin. We enjoyed exploring during the day and back to the cabin for a nice soak in hot tub. Nice fire pit and very comfortable bed. Will definitely return

Perfect Getaway

Got married on Friday the 13th. Went for a short honeymoon for a couple nights. When we arrived the first night there were deer everywhere and a sweet old barn cat to met us at the front door. Place was clean and up to date. Hot tub was great. Close to wine country and much more. Cabin sit next to a small farm with peacocks. Pretty cool. Will be back.

Seclusion…close to it all

Great, quaint cabin, that is well maintained and tastefully appointed. Setting on the covered porch looking out over the trees and pasture made me feel like I was 1000 miles from anywhere. The hobby farm next door was really cool. There were all kinds of animals on the property, many roaming free. I even saw a skulk of foxes as I pulled into the property. A quick 8 minute drive and you were in Carbondale. Very cool.
