We ended up staying in a different property due to a communication error and loved it
We saw deer, foxes, and turkeys. It was so peaceful, picturesque, and comfortable.
When the host realized the error, she immediately contacted us and worked out a solution most convenient for us.
Inwould absolutely recommend this hoat and her properties.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is just really cool and unique. What I didn’t realize from the pictures is that the master suite is all part of a loft over the main living area. Seemed a little strange not having a bedroom door, but then again I woke up and could see the mountain from the bed. I didn’t cook in the kitchen but my impression is that it is better equipped than most vrbos I’ve stayed in. This kitchen feels like people live there (I mean that in a good way). There are condiments in the fridge and a full selection of spices in a spice drawer, which is nice because there’s no groceries in Marble. Be prepared to haul your luggage up a narrow stone path to the property. The house was very clean and the bed was very comfy. There was also plenty of couches and chairs to relax on in the evening. View from the deck was awesome! Would definitely stay here again.
Great kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were comfy. View is astounding and beautiful. Cristina was on top of our needs. The steep trek from the car park to the house was short but difficult on the gravel driveway, so loading and unloading was a challenge for a few of us with older hips and knees. It’s a fantastic option for younger people with no mobility problems. The upstairs bedroom is big and beautiful AND open to the main living area. It’s private but open for sound.
This place was so great for our group going to a wedding at the marble lodge. Homeowner gives great instructions is extremely responsive and even offered to help us find a ride home after the wedding.
Would stay here again, views were great, she provided coffee and it was clean and comfortable!
The best equipped rental we’ve ever stayed at! We love to cook and eat together (there were 5 of us) and this place has it all and with good quality kitchenware. Bedding and towels felt luxurious and the little touches were so evident ( there was an “in case you forgot something” basket) . One son found great places to fish close by . Only comment would be if you need significant privacy if you go with a group it is a very open concept. We would definitely stay here again if we get back in the area.
Wow! This stay in Marble was amazing! The house is as you pictured. The beds were comfy, owner was communicative, and the house was beautiful. The location was remote and quiet and just what we needed to feel recharged. My IG account was filled with people that were jealous of the location / scenery ;). The house has everything you need from little extra things you may have forgot, to a fully loaded kitchen with excellent equipment, to a lovely wood stove and wood. Miles (owners' dog) was so cute as well. I would totally stay here again. A lot of care goes into this home. And yes, if you are traveling up to Marble in the winter months, 4X4 or AWD is needed to get to the house off the main road (little hard to climb in a car with 2WD / front wheel). Awesome stay!
Amazing place to disconnect and look at some mountains
This property is amazing; hands-down one of the most beautiful views from a porch in Colorado. My partner and I decided to spend a socially distant/quarantine week here, and couldn't have been happier.
The place was spotless - Cristina obviously puts a lot of effort and consideration into the property. There were numerous outlets; the bathrooms and kitchens were impeccably stocked; they provided us a bottle of local wine and a very sweet welcome note.
Cristina is a fabulous host - she was communicative, welcoming, and accommodating (though we didn't want for much). The family lives on-premise, and were certain to point out that they could not hear us upstairs, so we did not have to mind being too loud and crazy as we did puzzles and enjoyed the views. Despite their proximity, guests shouldn't be concerned about not feeling remote - you certainly will.
The family also has an incredibly sweet dog, Miles. If you like dogs, he's ready and willing to play with you. If that's not your thing, he's very good about leaving you alone.
The setting is beautiful - a large house nestled into the mountainside in the Marble valley. Do not expect a quick jaunt to the local grocer, however. Marble is notably remote, and is about a 45 minute plus drive to the nearest big(ish) town, and the drive from the main road to the house itself is nearly a mile of pretty bumpy dirt/gravel road. Our little Kia Soul was able to make it just fine, but bear that in mind!
The pictures do NOT do this property justice - we had an AMAZING time, made all the better by this wonderful host.
The house is extremely comfortable. The host has thought of everything from extra comfy blankets to well stocked kitchen with everything in between. It’s quiet with breathtaking views. We will definitely be back.
Cristina was very helpful and responsive, easy to work with. The house is amazing, beautiful views, and nicely appointed. It was a wonderful experience, mountains, fall colors, great hiking and a warm inviting home to decompress.
This quirky home is super clean (important to me) with all the amenities you need, plus great views! I loved sitting on the balcony in the morning with my coffee, watching the sun come up. We stayed for four nights and left very relaxed and happy that we had visited Marble. Our dog loved playing with the "neighborhood" dog and exploring the town with us. If you plan a trip to Marble, this is where you want to stay.
We were looking for a place to relax with mountain views and this home far exceeded our expectations. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed.
I want to spend all summer in Marble, Colorado! The area is teeming with crystal clear rivers and lakes, gorgeous hikes with no one else on them, and beautiful mountains! I felt so lucky for our family to spend time together here in this special mountain home. Cristina was extremely helpful and communicative, and I would happily stay here again. Thank you Cristina!!
If your looking for a remote breathtaking mountain stay- this is your spot!
My husband and I took our two young children to this cabin for 5 days. We both have lots of experience with remote living- so we weren’t concerned about the dirt road to the property- .
We were concerned about our toddler having enough to do- but she found lots of random toys the host generously let us play with. She also loved the wrap around porch and noticing where the sun was hitting the mountains.
The cabin is an incredible place to be mornings and evenings- as it’s views of dusk and dawn are incredible. We went in mid July and it cooled down nicely at night.
It’s very spacious and has a great kitchen. I was nervous it would feel too fancy for young kids- but it felt loved and ‘lived in’ in a good way.
If your looking to truly unplug - this is your spot.
The host lives below but couldn’t be kinder. She totally respects boundaries. In fact- my kid was always asking to see her and she was very generous with her time and kindness.
I would caution that it is remote- both the town and the cabin itself, so if you’d rather be near people or town- I wouldn’t recommend it.
We feel like this cabin is a gift. A rarity, both price wise and ambiance wise.
We had a fantastic stay at Christina's open, airy home. Truly photos can't do this place justice. It is impossible to capture how breath-taking the views are from the deck and how comfortable the interior is: great lighting, great fireplace, great furniture, great kitchen. It was just the 3 of us, but it didn't feel "too big" even though it could easily accommodate many more without feeling cramped with all the nooks. Christiana and her family were so thoughtful with local guidance for trails etc. and with all the details at the rental. There isn't nearby retail, and they were so intentional about being helpful if needed. Our dog Loki also had the time of his life.
The property is amazing and well kept and cared for. This was our second time renting the house for the weekend and it was fantastic. Cristina is communicative and easy to work with. Miles is a handsome dog dude and is friendly and cute. Thanks for having us again!
This house is quite lovely with its soaring ceiling and windows! They take great care in making your stay very comfortable. They offer everything you could need and more. The view is breathtaking. 😊 You feel as though you can reach out and touch the mountains! We loved our time there ❤
Such a nice place to stay and relax and enjoy the beautiful views.
Clean with everything you need in the kitchen. Lovely hosts.
Thank you for sharing your home.
Had a great time and the space was just the right size for us. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and we had no issues during our stay. Great views and a beautiful area. Very quiet but access to a lot of beautiful backcountry if you are willing to get out and go find it. Would definitely return again for another visit.
