My favorite part of my short stay there was the area: very vibrant and full of shops and restaurants that can be reached after a short walk. I also saw a subway station but I didn't use the subway. The hotel itself is very big. My room was on the 10th floor so I had great views on the city from my window. But the elevators didn't work so well. I was told that one of the two elevators was in maintenance so I once had to wait very long for the elevator to come and when it didn't show up after 10 minutes, I ended up going down the staircase all the way down from the 10th floor. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which is located on the 8th floor of the other wing of the hotel, so basically go down from the 10th floor to reception and then back up to the 8th floor of another building. Luckily, the elevators worked well that morning. The restaurant was nice, food was good, plenty of natural light and again with a beautiful panorama. It was fairly affordable. My room was clean but pretty barren. On the upside it had a chair and a table, plus a bedside lamp, which many other hotel rooms don't seem to have in Caracas. I would say that this hotel is good value for money but the price is low so don't expect great amenities.
