"Alex is a nice, welcoming gentleman. He had given us all information and instructions needed before checking. The breakfast and homemade cakes/ pastries were so delicious. We really enjoyed staying there. Nice walking distance from capri if you don’t have large luggage. For us even paying 18 euros to bring the luggage from capri port to hotel worth it. "Monte Solaro was one of our favourite places to stay in Italy! Constanzo was an amazing host. It is a very steep treck up to the property and he offered to transport our luggage by car when we arrived and brought us back to the bus station when departing. "Great location in Anacapri on the lovely island of Capri. We came out of season (Christmas) and within 5 minutes of arrival the host was there to check us in (despite us being several hours early). It was out of season but there were buses every 15 minutes and many restaurants, cafes, shops and tourist attractions open. We couldn't understand why more tourists didn't stay? We enjoyed the free coffee and sweets and the room and bathroom are superbly fitted out with modern showers. Excellent value...
