'Il Maretto' is immersed in the greenery of the Mediterranean machine, in a unique position for its tranquility and privacy: from the terrace you can enjoy a splendid view of the sea and the Stecchi beach, small but characteristic, can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
The apartment, located on the first floor, consists of two double bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with two single beds that can be joined together (totally re-furnished in summer 2017 and equipped with air conditioning from the 2018 season) - two bathrooms, a kitchen (new, season 2018), a large living room with two sofas, each with a bed, a terrace and an equipped outdoor area.
With a short drive you can reach both the villages of Capoliveri, Porto Azzurro and Portoferraio - where there are plenty of opportunities for fun and entertainment - and some famous beaches on the island, such as Barabarca, Zuccale, Lido di Capoliveri and Lacona.

Lovely apartment in a nice location.
Il Maretto is a well-designed and nicely furnished apartment not far from Capoliveri. There is a small beach (Stecchi) just a short walk away; other nearby beaches are Barabarca and Zuccale. The apartment is well-located to explore Capoliveri, Porto Azzurro, Portoferraio and other parts of the lovely island of Elba.
Giusi and Silvia are very kind hosts; Giusi gave us a warm welcome explaining the use of the apartment and giving us advice on beaches, sights and restaurants in the area.
Bedrooms are spacious and equipped with airconditioning. Nice and wide terrace with sea view.
One recommendation: the internet is a bit on the slow side and could be improved.
In short, we really recommend this apartment as a basis to explore Elba.

Sehr schöner Blick aufs Meer und nur ein paar Schritte bis zum Strand, machen die Wohnung zu einem echten Highlight.
Es ist alles da was man braucht, nur Handtücher und Bettzeug muss separat gezahlt werden. Es wäre schön, wenn das inklusive wäre.
Lediglich die Matratzen könnten erneuert werden. Sie sind doch etwas unbequem und zum Teil noch mit Federn.

Sehr schöne, helle und saubere Wohnung, 3 min laufen zu einer kleinen Bucht, wo man sich am frühen Morgen oder am Abend erfrischen kann ... vor oder nach schönen Ausflügen in der wunderbaren Umgebung ...
Sehr gute Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin. Gerne wieder :)

Traumurlaub
Die insel ist traumhaft, verschiedene buchten mit sand oder Kiesstrand. Kristallklares wasser. Gutczum schnorcheln.
Die ferienwohnung wunderschön gelegen. Strand zu Fuß erreichbar. Blick aufs Meer. Liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man zum leben braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und sofort zur Stelle wenn gilfe benötigt wird. Absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Relaxed family holiday
We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area. The view from the terrace was great, the apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The only thing we could not find were wine glasses 😊. Communication with Sylvia and Giusi went smoothly and they were always available.

Casa con vista
Casa in bella posizione rilassante con vista mare, solo un po' scomodo arrivare a causa dell'ultimo tratto di strada stretto. Bello il terrazzo fuori dove si può pranzare in tutta tranquillità. Unica pecca le docce un po' piccole!! Nel complesso soddisfatti.
