This was my second trip to Easts in about 12 weeks and both times I had a fantastic trip. The staff were lovely and helpful...the bar staff very good too. The room for the price is excellent and on par with Melbourne and definitely better then Sydney. Close to Manuka with good shops and restaurants. ...forget about breakfast in Manuka...couldn't findaany restaurant that had a table so try 80/20 on Lonsdale Street with great food and coffee.
Easts only offence was a fantastic price, brilliant room, great staff and bar...I'd like to repeatedly offend at Easts again next time I'm in Canberra...
Room was not ready at 2pm for check in, but was shortly after. Reception staff were very good. Breakfast staff were less enthusiastic. Room was good size, quiet and comfortable. Parking was good. Could walk to restaurants in next suburbs.

I had a pleasant stay at a reasonable rate. I think that you are expecting too much of people to have to spend their time to write a review of a minimum of 50 words to be able to sent their rating. you should be paying reviewers to do this. Very pleasant stay, room was recently refurbished. The bed was very comfortable. It also had tea and coffee making facility in the room. At this stage there is no restaurant onsite and only offering a continental breakfast, but you only have to go across the road for a fabulous Asian meal. Also a discount was given for a full breakfast in a nearby hotel.

Capital Hill, overlooking Lake Burley Griffin, is the literal and figurative highpoint of Canberra’s Parliamentary Triangle. The grass-topped Parliament House is located here, as is the National Portrait Gallery, the National Archives, and several embassies and high commission offices. Across the water by bridge are Kings and Commonwealth Parks.
