Awesomeness @ the Vine

What an amazing place. We travelled for work and stayed @ the Vine GH...... So worth it. Food was 5 star, rooms are awesome, clean & Comfy. Thank you for being the greatest hosts to us! Worth every penny and more. This must be one of the best guest houses in the Western Cape by far!

Beautiful setting and gardens. The room itself was nice enough with everything you could possibly need, although it was in the 'main house' which was really noisy really early in the morning. Staff are really lovely, friendly and super-accommodating! I wouldn't hesitate recommending this little gem. John & Nici

Disappointed Stay

Service was impolite and disorganized. The bed was completely concave and hurt my back, pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. Power went off at 4.30am shutting down the aircon and resulting in a loud beeping noise outside our room which continued like an alarm clock going off until 6am. Couldn't wait to leave.

Great Stay in South Africa’s Wineland

The room was really clean and nice, the staff were very nice and helpful in all aspects of our stay. They recommended a winery tour which was fantastic! We highly recommend this place.

I would rate this as "quite good" but not amazing. Very clean, nice room and grounds but irritatingly the flush on the toilet did not turn off (so continuous sound from the cistern unless we took the lid off and jiggled around with the mechanism). This was not fixed during our three day stay, even though we reported it on the first night. Breakfast was 150 Rand per person, which is pretty steep.

Friendly people and lovely getaway

We needed to stay around Stellenbosch area for an event there so we chose The Vine. The owners are friendly and very helpful. There is a restaurant on site which is very convenient. There is ample parking and it is safe. The rooms are spacious and clean. Most enjoyable stay and will be back.

Schönes Hotel in wunderbarer Gartenanlage

Ort war leider etwas schwierig zu finden, da kein Wegweiser an der Strasse ist.. Aber das Hotel, die Zimmer und die Anlage sind wunderschön. Leider war das Restaurant am Abend SA/SO nicht geöffnet. Dafür geb es aber ein leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Best bed ever

Stayed one night and wished we had booked another. Lovely room, beautifully decorated with very comfortable bed and fabby bed linens. Lovely gardens and pool and good breakfast. Staff were lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Shame the restaurant wasn't up and running as we hoped to dine on the premises but we appreciate that the place is being renovated by new owners. We ate in the Golf Course Hotel next door and it was lovely. Would recommend as a great place to stay

Great Stay

We stayed in Honeymoon suite which was very nice with a loft bedroom. The sitting room was nice and bathroom was on main floor as well. Very private Beside pool. Stairs were steep without a railing. All other rooms were on a single floor. Likely fine for most people but next time would stay in a regular room. Breakfast was awesome

Ruhiges Hotel außerhalb von Stellenbosch

Wir waren drei Nächte in der Honeymoonsuite im Vine House. Es wäre von Vorteil wenn die Beschilderung etwas besser angezeigt werden würde. Vine steht zwar da , aber Guesthouse sehr klein. Nur als Hinweiss. Wir mussten lange suchen . Andere Gäste auch. Die Unterkunft war ok. Platz ausreichend. Grosses Bad, Gute Betten. Schlafgelegenheit im oberen Stock. Poolanlage sehr schön. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück. Hervorragend. Wenn ich wieder buchen würde , dann ein Zimmer im Haupthaus. Diese sahen sehr schön aus . Es ist von Vorteil, das man im anliegenden Restaurant zu Abend essen kann. Eine gute Adresse wenn man ruhig wohnen möchte .

Slapen tussen de vines

Mooie rustige plek. Comfortabele kamers in Kapps landschap. Zwembad met uitzicht over bergen en leuk restauarant op het erf. Ruime parkeerplaats en goed te bereiken vanuit Stellenbosch en Kaaptad.

Fabulous Guesthouse

What a find. Been renovated over the past 18 months to a great standard. Lovely room with outside sitting area. Pool was super with great views of the mountains. Very relaxing especially with a vineyard just next door but yet easy reach of stellenbosch.

Trevligt hotell i vindistriktet

Ett trevligt hotell mitt i vindistriktet och nära Stellenbosch. Restaurang Nomad, som ligger några hundra meter bort, är värt ett besök för underbar mat, goda viner och mycket bra service. Även Hartenberg Wine Estate som är närmaste vingård, är värt ett besök.

Trata-se de uma pequena pousada, com bom cafe da manha e localizada na estrada. O staf é muito ruim, sequer nos mostrou o quarto. Limpeza no quarto nao foi feita, impossibilitando o uso da banheira.

朝食がおいしい

ロケーション、スタッフ、部屋、レストラン、等々、全てが大満足でした。アフリカは遠く、なかなか来るチャンスがありませんが、次も泊まりたいホテルです。 ホテルがワイナリー隣接のせいか、自然があふれていたためか、部屋に大きめのクモがいたのが唯一のマイナスでしたが、これはしょうがありません。他のプラスポイントが、マイナスを余裕で全て打ち消してくれます。 朝食もとてもおいしかったです。ボリュームにも満足でした。
