**Electricity Usage** Your stay includes 10 units (kWh) of electricity per day. This is generally sufficient with reasonable use of appliances, for example, using a heater in winter or a fan in summer. Just a note: conventional heaters typically use around 1.5 units per hour of continuous use and aircons and central heating use up to 3.5 units per hour.
If you’d like to keep the space extra warm or cool, you're welcome to top up electricity at any time, just reach out to your host. The current rate from the City of Cape Town is R4.94 per unit, and unused top-up units will be refunded after check-out.
**Loadshedding** The apartment building does not experience loadshedding.
**Smoking** The buildig is a smoking free building, that is included inside the apartments and common areas such as the rooftop.

**Braai''s/BBQ** On the rooftop there are gas Braai/BBQ facilities, plastic picnic flatware is provided in the apartment for use at the braai area, please do not take glass bottles to the rooftop. Please follow the building rules and regulations for shared spaces.
**Babies** If you’re traveling with little ones, we’ve got you covered! We provide a travel cot with a mattress and a folding feeding chair to make your stay easier. Just let us know at the time of booking if you need them, and we’ll have everything ready for you.
**Parking** Please note that there is no parking available in the building, and the parking garage directly across the street is currently closed for renovations.
