"The shining star of this wonderful hotel is the staff. Everyone from the doorman, the front desk staff, the chefs and the waiters, the room attendants to the maintenance staff were extremely friendly with big smiles and greeted us whenever we crossed their paths. A few staff that stood out were Restaurant Manager Roxane, kitchen staff Danielle and waitresses Faith and Asheda. The location was perfect and only steps from the heartbeat of the V&A Waterfront. The breakfast selection was excellent. The pool area and pool were lovely. Our room was a nice size with a big shower and comfortable beds. We highly recommend this wonderful property and when we return, we most definitely will stay here again."

"I stayed at the hotel numerous times before and will again. Mostly due to its vicinity to the airport for a late or early flight. This time I felt I was completely overcharged for my specific room 118. The kitchen extraction fan is right outside and very noisy! Kitchen cleanup late at night was very disturbing. Furthermore staff strarted slamming doors from 5 am did not help either. Overall not a good rest as it was supposed to be for the rate charged. Very disappointed. "

"Never stayed in a hotel without a lift before ! Lots of people , loads of luggage traipsing up & down the stairs. All good apart from that "

"The staff is great, but the place itself is awful. The location sucks, very noisy, the windows don't close tightly, the rooms are not sound proofed, the air conditioning is very noisy and does not work properly. The rooms are very tiny, I asked to be moved to a different room and the receptionist at the front desk did not know where to put me because all the rooms were noisy. I would give this place a 2 star. "

"The staff was the absolute best. They were so nice and always ready to help if needed. The restaurant downstairs was a 10/10. We fell in love with the waiters and waitresses."

"Had a lovely experience at the hotel. Everything was perfect but what really stood out for me was the professionalism and friendliness of literally all the staff. From the courteous reception staff, the ladies at the other desk who where very kind and patient in helping me with suitable tours to book, the cleaners who were always very polite and friendly and the staff at the outdoor areas who where just exceptional as this is where I spent most of my time at the hotel. Thank you all and hope to see you again 😊"

"Location was great really close to V&A waterfront staff were very friendly & helpful. Food at hotel & breakfast was good plenty of choice. Outdoor area on 2nd floor was good. Only recommendadtion would be to have an outside seating area on ground floor would be ideal."

"The hotel is definitely showing signs oif the need for a refurb. Tired flooring in bar and restaurant, ridiculously noisy AC units, doors to balcony need updating as do the bathrooms. Staff were generally excellent and breakfast selection was good. I stayed in a 6th floor Deluxe Executive room but overall I felt I was paying for the location rather than any other luxuries."

"We recently stayed 5 nights at this beautiful hotel in the heart of the City and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out we were treated like royalty and every whim was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our beautiful rooms had excellent views of Table Mountain and two restaurants on site offered excellent food options, with the Bombay Brasserie a must visit. The bar too is an excellent place to unwind after a long day. I can’t say enough about the staff …..everyone from the front desk, concierge, doormen, bar & restaurant staff always had smiles on their faces and were eager to please. We have stayed here before and will certainly do so again. "
