Perfect get away

This property was perfect for our needs! The kitchen was equipped with everything you ever need. The pool was warm and clean. The pool company came when we were there, they were in/out quietly and quickly. More than enough towels for all of us. Just a wonderful house.

Baseball vacation

The house was a perfect size for our family. We spent much of our time in your beautiful pool. Kitchen was well equipped. Definitely will stay again if traveling in this area.

Great Experience

We had a wonderful time at the property. Everything was ready for us when we arrived and the entry and exit instuctions were very easy to follow. The property otself was wonderful. Very well maintained and a pleasure to stay at.

The good: the pool and patio were perfect. Spacious and clean, really nice gas grill. The bed in the king room is super comfy, and kitchen is well stocked as well. The bad: 2 of the 4 patio chairs were broken. The couch has a weird slip cover, and not that it really matters, but none of the furniture matched! With just a few tweaks this could be a 4-5 star property.

Loved it! 😍

We enjoyed every aspect of staying here. All the conveniences of home. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, towels, blankets and pillows. The screened in patio and pool were our favorite thing. My 4 year old spent about 90% of our vacation swimming (we all took turns supervising and swimming with him), and slept like a rock every night. When Ann came by to check us in she asked about what we liked and what we thought about doing during our stay and gave us some excellent recommendations. Overall an amazing family vacation and we definitely recommend booking here.

Beyond Expectations!

Definitely enjoyed our stay. When we got there we were surprised to find that they had purchased new livingroom furniture. It is nice and comfortable. The home is older, but that doesn't matter, since they keep it CLEAN, affordable and bug free. The pool was amazing! We were in it morning, noon and night. Property manager great to work with, no issues. I have already recommended this property to several friends

Wonderful Rental property

We had an amazing time staying at this property. It was great having Ann check on us the next day after arrival and give us lots of helpful tips on places to see and go to in the area. The home was well maintained and spacious for our family. The pool area was so perfect for my kiddos! We absolutely loved it!

Quiet Neighborhood & Great House

If you are used to modern everything, then maybe look somewhere else. If you can overlook a few outdated issues then this is a great home for you and your family. I have a family of 4. This three bedroom was perfect. Each child had their own bedroom and a shared bath. The master bedroom had a comfortable bed and a small attached bathroom. There was a nice kitchen with enough dish ware to serve two dozen people. The back porch was nice to eat meals outside. The pool is what we spent most of our time in. The whole area was covered with a bug screen which made swimming well into the evening possible. We took daily walks through the neighborhood and found the small owls. Safe and quiet! Like I said, the place could use some updating but if you can overlook the outdated decor this is an awesome spot.

Relaxing at home after a day at the beach

We really enjoyed our stay. After driving onto Sanibel/captiva every morning, we all enjoyed having a house with a lovely pool all to ourselves. The house was very clean, and had ample linens auch as beach towels/regular towels dor our stay. The realty manager Anne was super helpful, even answering my question of where to get the best key lime pie (try the mango/keylime at Publix....super yummy). My only suggestion would be for some pool things for kids, like floaties, and some beach items for families flying, like buckets/shovels, etc. Also.more books in English....some lovely titles in German, but not many on English. Very thankful for our time at Villa Sunshine! Thank you for making our week and affordable one, and a memorable one!!

Not as described and pictured.

This property looked very nice in the pictures. In reality it probably was very nice in 1975. The pool was very nice but in February and March there needs to be auxiliary heat. At the least it needs a solar cover. Nights in the 40's zap the heat quickly. The lanai is nice with all the windows for fresh air. One of the chairs was in the garage broken. Two or three of the recliners on the pool deck were broken. Couldn't even guess how old they were. There are plates for around 24 people but flatware for 8 maybe. The Teflon pots and pans are against health department regulations. In the age of Covid there is no way there should be OLD butcher block counters. They are stained and burned and not sanitary in any way. The furniture was horrendous. Slip cover that did not cover the couch. Electric recliner that did not recline. Footstool was stained and gross. When we checked in Ann told us several times that "it is what it is". I could give SWFL rentals a decent review but tough when they represent this type of owner who obviously doesn't care what the tenants have to live with for the money they spent. No había gas para el grill y según la propietaria ustedes lo debían proveer Bombillos fundidos, falta de iluminación en la piscina y la visita inesperada del señor que limpia la piscina, nos enteramos fe su presencia cuando estaba dentro de la propiedad sin identificación y teniendo que salir de la piscina por media hora, los filtro del aire estaban sucios.

Just a "good" stay.

Overall, our stay at Villa Sunshine was basically just "good". The villa was very basic and clean, so it did accommodate our basic needs. The pool oasis was the best thing about this property. We were able to enjoy and relax in it. Now, a few safety issues of the villa. The main floors of the house and bathroom became very slippery if you had on sandals or walked with socks on. The Microwave made a very loud noise every time we would use it leaving us uncertain to whether or not to use it. The refrigerator did not cool as it is recommended. We had milk and dairy products spoiled. I wish I could say more, but this is our "just good" experience at Sunshine Villa.
