"We would like to thank Gaetano and Mary for helping to make our first trip to Sicily so memorable. Gaetano was always on hand if needed . He even showed us around the local town on our first afternoon to show us the best restaurants and the beach. The welcome pack was more than welcome and they even told us where to buy the amazing Sicilian cakes. The villa it's self was perfect with a lovely pool. Even though it was near a mall town it was a very peaceful spot when lazing round the pool. I would fully recommend a stay at their villa. Thanks again Gaetano and Mary"

"A lovely traditional apartment with a very large spacious living room with a lovely outside seating area with table and chairs. Air con worked efficiently, great to have a washing machine, bed comfortable and again another balcony view. There are a lot of stairs up to apartment although we saw that as a positive way to do some exercise each day.

The beach is about 15 minutes away along the corniche surrounded by mountains so very pretty although a shame the beach and corniche were all a bit untidy. Accept that the end of the season so maybe tidier earlier in the year.
A sheet with some instructions on about where everything is located or maybe a map showing supermarkets, bakery etc., and instructions with how things like the aircon worked etc., would be great.
You can get from Palermo airport to Sferracavello by train and it’s only a ten minute walk to the apartment. We used the train quite a bit and have to say they are super efficient. Once you buy your ticket you must validate in the little green box next to the machine or around on the wall,

"We stayed here in the middle of September. The villa has three spacious double bedrooms, two ensuite and a kitchen/dining room which has everything we needed. The highlight though is the outisde, the pool is a very good size and the garden itself is lovely with a vareity of attractive trees providing plenty of shade. It has a barbecue area and another outside table at the front. Within fifteen minutes walk are a supermarket and the town of Villagrazia which has a fishmonger, butcher, greenghrocer, baker and hardware store, so everything you need. There is a restaurant just beyond the town, under 20 minutes walk, unfortunately we couldn't try it as it closed at the end of their season before we had a chance. There is a basic but decent pizzeria/takeway in the town.
Unless you intend to sunbathe in the garden all week you will need a car. Many very interesting places are in relatively easy reach (less than 1.5 hours by car). The station of Carini is ten minutes drive away and we travceled in to Palermo by train (not being brave enought to drive in Palermo :-)), trains are then 40 or 50 minutes into Palermo. The catacombs on the edge of town are worth visiting as is the castle in Carini.

"The property was nice the only thing ia my yoilet kept running water all night so the sound was loud kinda didn't like also the checkout was way too early 10am they wanted us out asked if i could check out 1 more hour late but didn't want to other than that it was alright"
