"Great location and lovely place. Nice to have a variety of bedrooms with bathrooms on each level.As a side since there are three levels, lots of stairs which wasn’t really an issue for us, but might be for some guests. Some construction around the neighbourhood but wasn’t overly loud, just a little dusty so couldn’t really use the upper deck. The back deck was a great place to sit and read.Easy booking and clear communication on the rules of the rental."

"Beautiful unit, very welcoming and clean. Check-in was a breeze and our questions and concerns were answered promptly. There is A/C in the main bedroom and it blasts ice cold which was great for the near 30degC days that we had for half of our trip. The issue is there is no A/C in the secondary bedroom and the main living space, it was unbearable on the near 30degC days, when the weather cooled down to 25degC it was alright with windows wide open. Next issue is the Yale lock on the door, it just doesn't seem very secure, and maybe the door latch is not aligned properly or something but occasionally it will fritz out and beep and retry locking even though it is already locked. Just something to keep in mind, we had to keep check of it when entering and leaving the unit. The shared swim pool in the King Fir lodge was awesome, and open quite late with night lights so if you want to swim in the evening it is still possible. Pricing was my main gripe, while the daily rate is low there was an astronomical property fee, I wish they would make be more up front with the actual price rather than try to hide it behind a property fee. Overall it was a pleasant stay, very quiet, not too crowded or busy and very close to the City. 4.5 stars out of 5 due to lack of A/C in secondary room and property fee charges."

"The place was great, looked just like the photos and everything was in great condition and clean. The room didn’t have AC and it was Smokey all weekend so we couldn’t open the window, but that wasn’t a big issue and without the smoke it would have been a non issue."

"Beautiful summer stay with the views and walks. Communication is smooth and helpful. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, and the underground garage is a nice amenity. The room was overall clean and ‘checks the boxes’ but it feels a bit tired. My recommendations would be to replace the worn towels, replace the shower curtain (which was a liner) because the bottom is looking stained, and please clean the overhead fan with its thick layer of visible dust. It would be nice if the main tv can be mounted so it can pivot for easier viewing. The tv in the bedroom turned on but was not connected to view any channels. The lamp switch in the bedroom is broken. These updates, along with updated artwork to make it feel more warm and welcoming, would make the unit more desirable for us to return."

"The backyard landscaping was in rough condition. The backyard patio chairs were broken and not a desirable place to use. Pictures didn’t present that the orientation of the chalet was in the front of the property and having to climb four flights of stairs to get to the main living space was also disappointing. The owner of the property should install digital locks on the doors. The decibel monitoring system should be spelled out in the listing.. we were expecting for 1400 a night a five star property and we felt it was more in a four star condition. "
