"The property was really nice. Very new and clean with a bar and a gas powered fire pit outside with chairs to sit and watch the flames. Each room has a full kitchen and it is close to several restaurants. My only complaint was that I wanted to purchase a glass of wine after sitting outside by the fire returning phone calls, and they sent the bar tender home early since there was no one in the bar. I didn't want to go out to the HEB supermarket as I don't see well after dark and I had already had a couple of glasses of wine so I didn't want to chance a DUI. I had to buy a bottle of wine from their very expensive little store for $50 dollars if I wanted another glass. I spoke to the manager on duty about this and felt if the bar says it will be open until 10 PM, they should have had someone available to sell me a glass of wine until that time. I stay at Marriott a lot and have never run across this in any other location."

"The property was magnificent and accommodates a large crowd, without being crowded. We had a little issue with the key pad initially but the concierge service was amazingly responsive to any questions we had; they responded literally within minutes.The setting is absolutely beautiful and although its a bit remote, you can still easily get to a winery, golf and other activities. There are food options, but the home is so extraordinary, you will want to make or take in most of you meals to enjoy the grounds. I would highly recommend this home."
