"This is a magical place. The staff and owner made us feel like family. Every detail is perfection from the design of the rooms, to the public spaces which are inviting. The park-like grounds are stunning with many little seating areas to escape to. The daily breakfast is delicious and dinner in the restaurant is first rate. It is a quiet, peaceful place and just a 10 minute walk to the beach. We would highly recommend this wonderful hotel and would stay again if we can make it back to Punta del Este. "

"We loved absolutely everything about this lovely place. The cottage is so charming, the setting is like a secret garden, and the location was perfect for us: secluded and private, but within walking distance of the beaches, which are spectacular. Karen and Ken are superb hosts, welcoming and informative, but not at all intrusive. The bed and pillows were just right for us, the kitchen had the necessary tools for making breakfast and simple meals. DeVoto’s grocery store just a few miles away provided all of the necessary ingredients. We absolutely hated to leave. "
