You'll love the Bunkhouse's tranquil setting on the outskirts of Canon City, surrounded by farmland, horses, mature trees and beautiful mountain views. 4 Mile Creek runs through the 6 acre property with easy access to the Arkansas Riverwalk trail, San Isabel National Forest and the scenic Royal Gorge bridge and train. Nearby you'll find parks, rafting, fishing, hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking. Canon City's historic downtown is only minutes away where you can enjoy bars, restaurants, shops and St. Abby's Winery. End the evening on comfortable wicker furniture watching beautiful sunsets from the covered front porch. Prepare your favorite food on the electric grill or roast marshmallows over the propane fire pit while seated on Adirondack chairs just off the porch. Follow green signs to the creek and build a fire in the brick fire ring (after checking fire ban status with Canon City fire department at 719-275-8666). The dog friendly cabin features parking in front, keyless entry, a queen-size bed, kitchen, full bath, on-demand hot water, Google Wi-Fi and Starlink internet.

A great place to zone out and relax for a few days. Everything that we (and our dog!) needed was provided and some. Sweet card and gifts awaited us and coffee too. The bed was super comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very friendly and our neighbors (horses and mules) were very chill.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Cabin was very clean and in an excellent location. It was very relaxing with no noise and close enough to town to where if we forgot something everything was a quick drive away or even a nice walk away plus there were 2 surprises when we arrived. We plan on making a return trip very soon.

Great little cabin for me and my dog!

This place is cozy, clean, and quiet. Shari & Mike were outstanding hosts and made me and my dog feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend to small groups (1-2 people + pet) looking to stay in Canon City.

The Bunk House is very quaint and peaceful…just what we wanted. It has everything we needed. It’s not far from town. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. There’s a little path that you can walk down to the river too. Highly recommend staying at the Bunk House if you are in Cañon City. Loved chatting with Shari, she is so sweet.

A beautiful retreat for a couple

This was a literal slice of heaven! We went to canon city to celebrate my wife and I’s birthdays and it was peaceful and quiet. It was close to shopping, dining and sight seeing. The owner Shari was extremely welcoming and pleasant. The running creek was the cherry on top. We’ll definitely be going back!

Loved it!

We loved our stay and the host was wonderful. We had a little snag but the host more than made up for it. The bunkhouse was clean and the setting, although in the host’s back yard, was very peaceful. So close to everything we wanted to do. It is small so keep that in mind if you plan on booking.
