When we arrived, we were informed there was a festival in town that weekend, and had to park at the train station two miles away. No way to drive in or out for the whole stay. "The rooms are nice (even the ones at the back in a boring rectangular box building). The food was very good and the staff were in general very polite. However the only let down was that there was no shower gel in the container, had to use the handwash soap dispenser by the sink for a shower. WiFi was good, TV selection limited to a few channels, check-in & out was pretty swift, general up-keep of the hotel was good. Parking was a small concern, it has a big carpark which sweeps down the side of the building but even then there was only 1 space which I gladly took. If you get a room at the back of the hotel then be prepared for a hike as it is a long walk, especially after a 12 hour drive from the UK, carrying heavy luggage and working outside in the 36deg sun...."
