The best place we stayed for our entire trip!
Paolo was an amazing host. The B&B is in a fantastic location right off the main road. There are 4 rooms total, each one is decorated with unique antiques and artwork that Paolo has collected. Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town. During breakfast we had a wonderful meal, and spent over an hour talking with Paolo about many interesting topics, from travel to politics. He is an architect and has done the renovation to this house himself, and is working on several other projects in this small but wonderful town. He has a great collection of wine that is available for purchase as well. Overall this was our favorite experience in all of our trip to Italy.

A lovely old house full of works of art and antiquities. Plus points: good situation in terms of getting places, good restaurants nearby, wonderful views, clean house. Paolo, the owner, is very attentive. Not so good: difficult to park, especially when you first arrive, and need to unload. Very steep hills, especially to and from the lakeside, where most of the restaurants are. Breakfasts laid out like a work of art, but could have done with a bit more to eat.

A Gem on Lake Maggiore
We stopped at Casa Forster for one night on our honeymoon, traveling through Italy. Of all the places we stayed, this one truly stood out! The owner, Paolo, was incredibly friendly and entertaining - we enjoyed talking to him throughout our stay and he even humored our attempts at jokes in broken Italian. The house itself is gorgeous, he's done a great job decorating with antiques and interesting pieces, and the view from the garden was spectacular. We enjoyed a generous breakfast spread while looking out over the rooftops of Cannero Riviera and a panorama of the lake itself. We didn't want to leave, and now we can't wait to come back!

A Delightful B&B
Casa Forster is a beautifully restored house with a terriffic view of Lago Maggiore. Cannaro Riviera is 20 minutes north of Stresa in a quiet part of the lake. The owner and host Paolo Luonghi is simply a wonderful person who made us feel completely at home. He is very knowledgeable and directed us to the prime attractions in a very helpful manner. The included breakfast is sumptuous. Everything about Casa Forster is tastefull and artistic, including breakfast. we stayed four nights and were sorry to leave. My wife and I give this place and its host the highest possible recommendation!

Obwohl wir am Vortag von Ebookers die Bestätigung fürs Zimmer erhalten haben, war kein Zimmer mehr frei. Der Besitzer hat uns vor Monaten telefoniert und wollte, dass wir direkt bei ihm buchen. Er werde Ebookers stornieren. Per Mail hat er uns bestätigt, dass er auch ohne Ebookers für uns ein Zimmer hätte. Dem war dann leider nicht so. In ganz Cannero gab es kein anderes freies Zimmer mehr und wir mussten in die Schweiz zum Übernachten!

Der Kunde erhielt im Februar eine E-Mail von Casa Forster bittet um CC-Daten, da diese ungültig sind.Sie mussten die Daten aktualisieren, haben es aber nie getanIch habe nie etwas von ihm gehört, seit sie vor meiner Tür standen.Leider waren wir ausgebucht und selbst wenn wir im August versuchen, einen Platz zu finden, ist es schwierigWenn sie sich nicht um die Aktualisierung der Daten kümmerten, bedeutete das, dass sie die Aktualisierung abbrechen wollten.Unsere Geschichte spricht über uns und wir freuen uns darüber, und unsere Gäste auch :)

Arriving late night, waking up all other guests , leaving at 7,30....and leaving a meaningless vote after no experience : perfect guest for a Motel on a highway, which- lukily- we are not.EXPERIENCE art, beauties , italian foos, the garden lake view, and only after a real experience leave your vote.

Stand vor geschlossene Tür. Laut Telefonate mit der Hotelpersonal, könnte die mir kein Zimmer geben da ausgebucht war und hat angeblich gleich nach meiner Buchung bei Hotels.com storniert da es ein Fehler von hotels.com war. Von Hotels.com hatte ich ein Buchungsbestätigung email erhalten.

Das Studio war super sauber und alles was man braucht. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Kleiner Abzug zum Bett, da wir gerne weiche Matrazen haben, hatten wir etwas mühe mit dem Comfort des Bettes

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit Seeblick
Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten die Adresse zu finden, gab es eine sehr freundlichen Empfang. Unser Appartement in Seenähe war sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet und bot einen fantastischen Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Die kleine Küche war sehr sauber und ist auch mit den wichtigsten Utensilien ausgestattet, größer "Kochaktionen" sind jedoch nicht möglich. Das Frühstück haben wir uns selbst zubereitet und auf dem zwar sehr schmalen aber ausreichenden Balkon (mit Seeblick) eingenommen. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Der Eigentümer war für uns jederzeit erreichbar und sehr bemüht.Wir würden dort wieder übernachten.

Mahtava B&B upealla näköalalla
Paolo On loistava isäntä, arkkitehti joka on kunnostanut talon kokonaan, ja joka on hyvin vieraanvarainen ja avulias! Huoneista on upeat näkymät Canneron kattojen yli, paikka on todella kiva ja hinta-laatusuhteeltaan erinomainen. Suosittelemme!

Unser Kurzurlaub am Lago Maggiore
Aussicht vom kleinen Balkon tags und auch nachts besonders schön. Einrichtung einer alten Villa entsprechend gut angepasst. Dielen haben stark geknarzt. Vermieter sehr freundlich. Zum Frühstück leider nur aufgebackene sehr harte Brötchen bzw. Baquett und sehr eintönig.

Dear Anonymous, I am always on site asking for any needs; if you wanted anything different you could have asked; sweets, cakes, ham, salame, 5 different cheeses and at least 4 different kind of bread ,white and black is what I offer , but if anybody needs other selection is important to ask as I do not have the skill to read in minds yet , when I ask if everything is fine could be useful to say the truth, sometimes it helps reaching the goal.

Leider konnten wir noch nicht einmal einchecken, da das B&B überbucht war. Das haben wir allerdings nur erfahren, weil wir angerufen haben, um unsere Ankunftszeit mitzuteilen. Angeblich hat man uns eine Email geschickt mit dem Hinweis auf eine Umbuchung. Diese haben wir jedoch nie erhalten. Also mussten wir in einem anderen Hotel übernachten, das ein wenig teurer war und in dem es ausgerechnet an dem Tag kein warmes Wasser gab! So haben wir mehr gezahlt und nicht mal warm duschen können. Insgesamt ziemlich ärgerlich!

Unser Gastgeber des vier Zimmer umfassenden B&B-Hotels war immer präsent uns stets mit wertvollen Tipps zur Gestaltung von Ausflügen für uns da. Die Zimmergestaltung ist höchst individuell und zugleich geschmackvoll. Die Lage mit Blick auf den See gut. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der sich sehr um das Wohl seiner Gäste sorgt und viele gute Tipps bzgl. Restaurants und Aktivitäten geben kann. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und stilvoll eingerichtet, liegt erhöht mit Traumblick über den See. Das Frühstück war lecker mit vielen italienischen Spezialitäten. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Kleines liebevoll geführtes B&B
Wir waren sogar zweimal dort, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Paolo, der Besitzer, kümmert sich persönlich um das Wohlergehen seiner Gäste. Das Frühstück wird im kleinen Garten mit traumhafter Aussicht auf den See liebevoll angerichtet. Paolo erklärt wenn gewünscht die Gegend und empfiehlt Orte, die man gesehen haben sollte. Das Haus ist ein historisches Gebäude mit antiken Möbeln. Badezimmer sind komplett neu und modern gestaltet und fügen sich in das Gesamtkonzept ein. Für Urlauber, die lieber kleine persönliche Unterkünfte mögen, das perfekte B&B.

Paolo ist ein wunderbarer, sehr gesprächiger und herzenswarmer Gastgeber. Genau so, wie das Haus, die Zimmer, die Gartenterrasse: mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, mit einem Auge für die Details. Angefangen von Kerzen im Treppenhaus über die Blumen im Garten, im Haus und im Zimmer bis zum ausgiebigen und überraschenden Frühstück. Dass der Verkehr vor allem morgens zwischen 5 Uhr und 7 Uhr eine Handbreit vor dem Zimmer durchbraust und dabei oft hupt, weil das Haus in einer engen Haarnadelkurve liegt, dafür kann Paolo nichts. Aber es nervt halt trotzdem... Im Zimmer fehlen Ablagemöglichkeiten. Platz dafür hätte es genügend.

Wunderbare Tage im Casa Foster
Wir waren rundherum zufrieden und haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt.Die Zimmer, mit dem fantastischen Seeblick, sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch das Bad ist sehr schön und großzügig. Nach einem wunderbaren, üppigen Frühstück kann man von Paolo noch jede Menge Tipps für einen gelungenen Urlaubstag bekommen. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es viele interessante Ausflugsziele.

Top Pension in perfekter Lage
Wir hatten einen super Kurzurlaub bei Paolo in seiner Casa Forster. Sein Service und das Frühstück waren wirklich erstklassig. Das gesamte Haus ist frisch renoviert und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Die Lage ist perfekt. Am Hang gelegen, sodass man eine super Aussicht auf den See genießen kann und trotzdem nur 5min zu Fuß bis zum Seeufer. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Aufenthalt :-)
