"We had a great stay, and overall, the property served our family really well. The host was incredibly responsive, which made communication easy at every point—from before we arrived through our stay and even afterward.The house itself was very comfortable. The beds were especially great—even the Murphy bed was comfortable—and the bedding was a dream. We all slept really well. There were plenty of fluffy towels, and the kids absolutely loved the car beds.The lake was beautiful and ended up being where we spent a huge portion of our time. The kayaks were great, there were plenty of life jackets available, and we had fun fishing and just enjoying the view. I did have a little trouble finding a life jacket that fit my 10-year-old perfectly, but we were able to make it work.One thing to be aware of is that the house sits along a fairly busy main road. You do hear some road noise from the dock, so it isn't quite the completely quiet lakefront experience you might picture—but once you take a kayak out onto the water, you absolutely find that peaceful lake feeling. The location is also very convenient to stores if you need anything during your stay.I would also recommend being especially careful when crossing the road to access the lake. The road is busy, and both the driveway and the walkway down toward the lake are fairly steep. We found it easiest to walk down the driveway, stay on the grass until we were directly across from the lake access, and then cross the road. Once"

"This little cabin was absolutely beautiful, and perfect for a solo traveler (if that is what you are looking for). It is a tiny, but very charming cabin, very clean, two bedrooms, indoor and outdoor shower. What I needed and was looking for, to get away to a place that was really magical, outdoor hot tub was divine, and all the little amenities hidden in each corner. Loved the tic tac toe game made from a log and rocks. After a very tough 4 months of grieving my husband, this was the escape I needed! You will not be disappointed!"

The house came with everything we needed to enjoy days down by the beach and served as a great home base. Jonathan was extremely receptive and was able to quickly answer any questions. Can’t recommend this VRBO enough!"
