"The chalet is located in a smalll hamlet, at the end of a stony road. It is well equipped and had all we needed for our short stay. It is full of 'souvenirs', objects, books, pictures, which gives it a very homelike feeling. We enjoyed the outside terrace with its table and bbq, as well as the outside sofa. "What can I say about this hotel it’s set in the beautiful Douro valley on the river front surrounded by the mountains, in Porto Antigo, the staff are very friendly and helpful the bar is well stocked and the food is very good. We would definitely recommend it and will return in the future. "

"Top notch service at a magical property. Stayed in the vineyard view room and it was phenomenal. All the staff are incredibly helpful, pleasant and went out of their way to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. The "lake" pool is incredible, and is perfectly complimented by their in-house wines which they will bring to you at the pool! Could not recommend the hotel enough! "
