Get your adrenaline pumping at this fun-filled amusement park where the thrills come fast and furious.

Over three million people a year flock to Canada’s Wonderland to enjoy over 200 attractions, including the fastest rollercoaster in the country. Opened in 1981, the park has quickly become a firm favourite with families and fun-seekers of all ages. The 130-hectare site is divided into eight easy-to-navigate zones featuring the latest white-knuckle rides, a water park, a children’s area and many other attractions. There are sixteen high-octane rollercoasters to choose from, including the mighty Leviathan, the tallest and fastest ride in Canada, which reaches a mind-blowing top speed of 148 kilometres per hour and hurtles its brave riders to heights of 93 metres. The thrills continue as you try your hand at daring stunt car driving on the Backlot Stunt Coaster, loop the loops on Dragon Fire, cling onto the Flight Deck, Canada’s only inverted loop jet coaster, or spin through 360 degrees on Riptide.Gentler delights await you on the prancing horses of the antique carousel, which dates back almost a century, or the refreshing spray of the Timberwolf Falls log flume. The kids will love Planet Snoopy, where they can join in Joe Cool’s Dodgem School or let off steam on the Peanuts 500 racetrack.Admission to the Splash Works water park is included in the price of your ticket to Canada's Wonderland. Keep your belongings safe and dry in a rented locker while you lounge on a raft along the Lazy River, test your nerve on the twisting body flumes or relax to the rhythm of the waves at White Water Bay. For an additional charge you can take in Dinosaurs Alive!, a realistic recreation of prehistoric times when these huge creatures roamed the planet.Canada’s Wonderland is in the suburb of Vaughan, a 40-minute drive from Toronto city centre. A special bus service runs direct from York Mills or Yorkdale bus terminal, and there is on-site paid parking. The park is open daily from mid-May to August, and on weekends in September and October, while Splash Works is open from June to August only. Save money by buying tickets online in advance. You can also pay extra for a Fast Lane pass which entitles you to skip the queues for many of the most popular rides and attractions.
