Punthill Maitland

"Great location and friendly staff"
Hunter Gateway Motel
10/10 Excellent
"It was amazing. Just what I needed. I was given considerate assistance when it was needed & blissful privacy as much as I liked. Parking was great & could come & go easily at anytime without disturbing others. The foliage out the back garden with the birds morning & night was enough to pretend I wasn't just in a local city but really on holidays in a country setting. Appliances & amenities were good quality though slightly dated but then so am I so that just made it easy for me again!! Im smiling as I write this as I had 2 wonderful weeks of much needed peace & quiet & I cant think of anything that the establishment doesn't offer, whoever you are, you just cant beat the good old fashioned Best Western Motor Inn style of accomodation. With easy access to a choice of cuisines & entertainment next door & shopping up the road; & the staff were all so lovely; for me being a solo woman traveller; 10/10"

Rydges Resort Hunter Valley
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed two nights in a three-bedroom villa with two young kids and their grandparents. We are sensitive to cleaning chemicals but none of us had any reaction, no smell, so we could fully relax at the villa. The waterpark and the bigger pool were amazing, entertained our kids all the time, literally almost all day. We could spot some warrabies in the property, which was a good bonus. The breakfast buffet was also great, especially the egg kitchen. No salad at the time I stayed but a good variety of fresh juices and fruits. Only my disappointment was that some tissues floated in the “adult only” pool, and it was not cleared on the next day also…"
Tallgums - Immerse Yourself in Ancient Rainforest
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at the property was all that we could have wished, with all the amenities to ensure a comfortable stay, such as reverse cycle air con., ceiling fans, oil heaters, and electric blankets. The kitchen was rustic but fully functional, which made whipping up self- catered meals during our 3 night stay super easy. Bathroom was a pleasant surprise with a full bath and shower overhead, and generous toiletries supplied. And of course all this, and surrounded by the spectacular rain forest … didn’t want to leave this cosy escape … will definitely return same time next year. ."
Hunter Studios Maitland
10/10 Excellent
"One of the loveliest places Ive stayed. Love the polished floor boards, the mod cons, the full sized fridge, the lush quality linens & toiletries; the studio open space & the bed- divine. Lock up property so I felt safe & happy to have my car safe & off the street too, a seamless check-in & great communication from staff, admin as well as staff cleaner who made the experience pleasant & efficient in every way. As a solo traveller security & comfort are important as without it you can never really relax & instead being on guard wears you down. This place was worry-free, hassle-free & 100% R&R. It was also condusive to feeling organised & its clean lines & spaces made it easy to keep clean & tidy & overlook the clutter in my head & plan my next moves without any distractions. I will look foward to an opportunity to book here again soon."
