A walk uphill and you are in the old town with a map and walking tour supplied by the Hotel. The breakfast was generous and tasty with helpful staff present. "Clean and modern room, great staff, might be a challenge to get there by car (ZTL). Parking available near but when we were there one of the city elevator did not work so we had to carry our bags up a very steep hill. "

"Unique and wonderful! We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. Our baggage was taken up the stairs via an amazing custom monorail. The room was comfortable and cool, the linens were excellent quality, our sleep was refreshing, and breakfast healthy and satisfying. They feature delicious bottled juices. Francesco gave us a tour of the fascinating historical interior rooms including the winemaking room with the grape stomping vats! I highly recommend Castle di Luco, we will treasure our stay here forever! "
