"The house is a charming old house with all the aminities one needs. Every day the pool is cleaned by Gabrielle, a very nice old man. The house is beautifully located in the hills above de valey of Spoleto and in fact on the pilgrims road between Spoleto and Assisi. We made some beautiful walks. The garden is shaded en well suited for dogs. Ours loved it. We certainly hope to return."

"Nous avons passé une petite quinzaine de jours dans cette magnifique propriété, une ancienne bergerie rénovée. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques. Le jardin est planté de nombreux arbres fruitiers, la piscine est extrêmement agréable et protégée par les arbres. "My wife and I stayed here for a few days of relaxation after spending a week in Rome. It is a rather large place to stay for just two people as it does have 5 bedrooms and a rather large living area, but we were very happy with it. "Ligging is fantastisch en zeker met honden heel fijn. Alles omheind, ook de toegang naar rivier en waterval Het huisje is prima maar basic. Als je slecht weer hebt geen bank of comfortabele stoelen. Douchen is het beste onder de waterval want er is weinig druk. Qua kookgerei is het minimaal en we misten buiten wel ligbedden Ondanks de minpunten vonden wij deze plek voor herhaling vatbaar, echt uniek!"

"We were a party of 14 adults who arrived during a thunder storm. The owner was there to meet us, show us around and advise on dinner etc. The surrounding view and area is stunning, peaceful and in the countryside. The rooms are large with en suites. The kitchen is more than adequate for self catering. This property is a must, thank you for letting us stay."

"Lovely hill top setting in this restored castle village. The apartment is very pretty, and we enjoyed the pool and a soothing spa treatment. The kitchen is small but has what you need. We cooked several times, and dined out several time. L'Abbazia restaurant was a wonderful dining experience. (Loc. Castel San Felice Sant'Anatolia di Narco), The staff at the hotel property are very friendly and helpful, and answered many questions for us. Easy travel to Spoleto for some sightseeing too."

The pool is large enough with an AMAZING view on the valley and on Trevi! We have a very good welcome and availibity of the renter. By the way, they produce a good olive oil locally. Thanks again! "Property was not as listed on the site. No WiFi, towels and bed linens were not provided, cleanliness was subpar, and a cash payment was demanded upon arrival. Check-in and check-out processes were unclear. "

Castel di Luco

"Unique and wonderful! We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. Our baggage was taken up the stairs via an amazing custom monorail. The room was comfortable and cool, the linens were excellent quality, our sleep was refreshing, and breakfast healthy and satisfying. They feature delicious bottled juices. Francesco gave us a tour of the fascinating historical interior rooms including the winemaking room with the grape stomping vats! I highly recommend Castle di Luco, we will treasure our stay here forever! "

"We stayed for just one night in the "Lu Magazzi". It was a beautiful room and looked like it had been very recently built. Everything was spotlessly clean and new. We enjoyed the breakfast with all the home produced products. We particularly loved the Torta di noci (Walnut cake). The owner provided helpful suggestions on nearby places to eat - all a short drive away in the next village. Such an idilic quiet place to stay if you are exploring the Sibilini mountains. Hearing a Eurasian scops owl calling its mother added to the atmosphere of staying on this farm."

The pool was well maintained by a local who checked in everyday to see that things were Ok.
