"The parking was very easy. The hostess was incredibly warm and very helpful. She welcomed us with superb cakes and tea as we checked in. Over generous amount of fresh milk in the room for hot drinks. Breakfast was very generous as well and we were not able to do it justice. "We stayed 1 night at portavadie hotel in a standard lodge room. It was spacious and clean with the bonus of a mini fridge & pint of milk which is a nice touch. It surprised me how big the complex . You can either walk or drive to the leisure facilities as its not in the same building as reception & restaurant. The restaurant food is good & the staff very pleasant. Especially Debbie who served us at breakfast. I would definitely stay here again"

"The property was clean,, quaint, and charming. The restaurant was delicious! I had dinner and breakfast the next morning. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had or should I say that I’ve had in Scotland so far. The staff was amazing! Carolyn went above, beyond and out of her way to make sure I was well taken care of, and I greatly appreciate it. The Royal Hotel is lucky to have her."
