"Staff has always been very professional, kind, approachable and nice. We drive down from Kansas City it takes 10 1/2 hours what I love the bed is so comfortable I always get some good rest after that long drive. Having allergies, alot of times when I stay at a hotel I can't breathe because it's stuffy this has not been the case the 5 times we have stayed.... My only suggestion check the water pressure and hot water. A nice HOT SHOWER WOULD BE GRAT!!"

"Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in walking distance to several restaurants, liquor store, Walmart, and there is a trampoline park right behind the hotel which is great for kids. My only complaint is that I book a room for 2 adults and 3 kids. Room said it accommodates 5. Booking does require you to add the ages. I assumed that I would be given a room with a pullout sofa but I did not. It had 2 queen beds. I asked for a roll away bed and they said they have 3 which were all being used. The beds were comfy, however my kids did not sleep well as they had to squish in one bed. I can understand if the kids are small, you could make it work, However, my kids are 11, 13 and 15, and the hotel does require this info before hand, so it would have been nice to get a room with a pullout or they should have more rollaway beds available. Other than that, the hotel was peaceful and lovely."

"I have traveled and stayed at many motels.some were a disaster and some were just average. This motel isnt new but so totally clean. The breakfast had a nice selection of items. We enjoyed our stay. 8/11/2026"

"We loved "Jolene" for our college roommate reunion! It's in a great location for spending time on Laurel Lake and for a day trip to Cumberland Falls. There are also good thrift/antique/craft stores in the area. The house itself is spacious with a huge well-appointed kitchen and we loved the covered patio in the back! We also loved the Dolly theme. One suggestion is to add a mirror in at least one other room. With only one bathroom containing the only mirror, it was challenging for us three women to get ready to go somewhere efficiently. Also, maybe provide a couple of inside games and/or puzzles in the house? It rained for around half of our stay and we got pretty tired of TV! We definitely enjoyed our stay and would rent again if we're in the area."

"Lovely home, quiet area. Water was really warm. We enjoyed the dock, fire pit and deck. Lots of steps down to the water which can be a little challenging for some but we mostly enjoyed getting our steps in!Great host, lots of good information about the area."
