"The room was spotless. Beds were comfortable. Opening up the floor to ceiling drapes revealed a screened in bug free patio that looks out over the beautiful lake. The sandy beach was great with chairs, kayaks, canoes, and a swimming area. Daniela and David were excellent hosts. We will stay the again."

"This is a great property with gorgeous views. We enjoyed our stay there very much. There are a few discrepancies in the listing though. FYI. The listing description includes a dock. However after booking we were notified that we did not have access to dock our boat on it. It also lists parking for 6, however when checking in, they ask for a limit of 2 cars. Very confusing. But we had 3-4 cars there with no problems. Zero communication from owner when stranger walking around the property for ‘landscaping quote’. Nor a heads up when a repairman showed up at 9am. We were there 10 days with no trash pick up and no communication from them when we notified them that the trash bins were full. The rent was reasonable, but the Vacasa charges almost doubled the rate. We would much prefer dealing directly with the owner. The main living area front door and slider to the porch had no screens! Nor did many of the windows. So if you want that wonderful Adk lake air, you’ll have to deal with the bugs!But we enjoyed the property very much. Plenty of space for everyone with 3 floors."

"We stayed just one night this time (Friday). It was wonderful and relaxing. We enjoyed the wood fired pizza up the hill for dinner and breakfast made by the owner with other guests on Saturday morning (waffles, fresh fruit, coffee and tea). That allowed us to get there, relax and hang out, and stay on the property until we left on Saturday, which was nice. We did some bird watching and enjoyed the peace and quiet this homestead offers. I'm sure we'll be back again."
