Camp Lillian Gorgeous New Cabin with Mountain Views
Camp Lillian a sweet “new old” cabin is modest in scale, simply furnished so to not detract from the richness of the views --- it offers a fresh, invigorating sense of “just what is needed, nothing more.” The cabin is located on a 40 acre family compound where we have four glamping tents and seven cabins with plenty of privacy between each.
There is a queen bed with duvet covers and beautiful south facing views of the mountains. Vintage oriental rugs, beautiful drapes and antique lamps. There is a cozy bay window where one could read, or sleep. The bay window overlooks a wildflower meadow with a canopy of trees behind the cabin. The bathroom has a nice shower and vanity. There is plenty of hot water, towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner for your use. The kitchen is fully stocked with a stove, an under counter fridge, toaster, coffee making things and of course a sink. There are good pans to cook with, plates, glasses and silverware. The cabin is cozy warm in winter with electric heat.
There is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Stargazing at night is amazing as there is no light pollution.
Summers are wonderful with cool mountain breezes, nearby lakes and the Hudson River to swim, bathe or fish in. Fall is glorious with all the trees turning color.
We are only five miles from Gore Mountain for downhill skiing and three miles from Garnet Hill Lodge for cross country skiing (and dining!)
Enjoy a hot tub experience! Built within a beautiful Japanese temple-like structure on one of the most beautiful spots of our land (a very short walk from this cabin), our all natural no-chemical hot tub is a delightful way to start your morning, relax after hiking or winding down after dinner. Available for a private experience for $25 for an hour of wonderful relaxation. Let us know if you would like to book!
Also available for private experience is our new Cedar Sauna located a short walk up to the Main Compound. This sweet little building offers a dressing room and lovely new cedar sauna. $30 for one full hour.
Spring, Summer and Fall: Join us for wood-fired pizza! On the upper portion of our land off Cemetery Road, we have a wood fired pizza oven. Here’s how it works. We make and provide the dough, and guests bring their own toppings. We fire up the wood-fired pizza in the late afternoon. By six, the wood fire has died down and the oven is about 800 degrees. Most nights (not all) From six-thirty to seven, guests come to the pizza pavilion with their toppings and we help them cook their pizzas.
As for summer things to do in the area, there is white water rafting in the beautiful clean Hudson River right at the bottom of our hill offered by various kayaking companies, hiking spots galore, a nearby gorgeous completely undeveloped lake called 13th Lake, dining in North Creek or nearby Garnet Hill Lodge and great daytrips to nearby Lake George, Blue Mountain Lake, Lake Placid and such.
The property is an easy scenic drive up 87 from NYC. If you arrive late, the house will be unlocked and lights on for you.
If this cabin is booked, take a look at our cabins and glamping tents, all are listed on this site.: Glamp Richard, Glamp Suzanne, Glamp Thomas, Glamp Bernice, Farmstand, Camp Twosome, Camp Hudsonview, Camp Bossie, Camp Lillian and Camp Finale.
In nearby North Creek, we have two cabins on the Hudson River (Camp Riverwood on the Hudson and Riverfront Cottage) and a gorgeous ten room Victorian a few miles away (Adirondack Victorian).
ARCHITECTURAL NOTES: The cabin was designed and hand crafted by its hostess/owner Leslie. A small crew framed the house in November and Leslie had a lovely winter doing all the inside carpentry and painting during the winter.
A great deal of thought and energy went into planning this cabin. Like a tree grabbing a roothold in the slope, reaching down for water and minerals and arching up toward the available sunlight, a house must begin and grow from its site. When the design of a house has grown out of the uniqueness of the site, it will seem as natural and as integral a part of the whole as trees are a part of the forest. When the house becomes a part of the land, the site can be fully inhabited. The cabin is not set a top the highest point of the land, where it would be fully exposed, but partway down, allowing the woods behind to form privacy and to shelter the house. Gaze out at the wildness of the site from a sheltered spot.

The Lillian cabin was great!! It was not only beautifully made but it had everything we needed including a peaceful and quiet two nights in the Adirondacks!!
Great little cabin for a couple. Very close access to a lot of the nearby trailheads. The cabin is separated from the rest of the property, so you have a lot of privacy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camp Lillian! It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you!

The view was incredible. Location is perfect. The internet was a little spotty but that’s to be expected in bad weather. Loved the spa setup. Will absolutely stay there again!
We use this cabin as a base for exploring south Adirondack hiking trails. We really enjoy the location, the cabin itself, the quiet place and the scenery at diner time after long hike. One of our favorite was very near by : Peaked mountain trail.
My husband and I loved staying in Camp Lillian cabin! It was cozy, private, and the views were beautiful. Especially enjoyed the window seat for reading and the plethora of windows to have open in the beautiful weather or even in rainstorms! Highly recommend :)
A perfect place for a weekend getaway. The view was amazing and location of the cabin was quiet and peaceful. The rest of the farm was lovely especially the flower garden. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely stay there again.
This was an awesome visit. The host was responsive and on top of things. Beautiful property with an amazing view. Will definitely be back to check out more of the area
We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views in a peaceful setting. The cabin was light, cozy, and just the right size for a short getaway. The mattress was very soft though, so if you prefer a firm bed, this may not be a good option for you.
We stayed at Camp Lillian for a weekend and had the best time. Cabin was perfect for what we needed, including a little kitchen with the basics. The cabin even had a heated blanket, which we definitely needed (the temperature was about 2 degrees!). The hot tub was a highlight of the weekend, definitely book if you're interested. The location felt very private, we never saw another person during our stay.
Leslie put a lot of thought into the decor and functionality of our cabin. It was comfortable and warm. We loved watching the hummingbirds in the well placed petunias!
This cozy little cabin was warm, well-stocked, and perfectly situated for a beautiful weekend in the Adirondacks. And wow, that hot tub! Such a cool experience. We’re excited to come back and enjoy all the summer amenities on the farm. Thank you Leslie!
This is a perfect cozy cabin for a romantic getaway. It’s tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The ideal placement of the cabin allows amazing mountain views from all the windows. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. Leslie responded instantly and was very helpful. We plan to return and try a different cabin with a little different view.
We were looking for a place to disconnect from digital life and demands and reconnect with nature, each other, and ourselves. Camp Lillian allowed us to do all this and more! The location, decor, and simplicity of the setting were PERFECT. The reinvigorating views of the mountains; the availability of the Japanese-inspired ceder hot tub to melt away stressors; the starry nights; and the quiet seclusion... you can't go wrong!
Cozy cottage with great views and beautiful hand touch details. Obvious much thought went into the cottage with regard to sunrise and sunset captured in the view of the windows. Excellent private spa experience. Awesome place to unwind after a day in the mountains. 10 out of 10 all day!
Super cute, clean place. Really well-designed use of space. The mountain view was amazing, and the whole area was full of beautiful natural gems. Our 10-year-old slept on her sleeping bag in the little bay window and loved it. We reserved the Japanese hot tub for a session and really enjoyed it. We had a great experience all around.
We stayed for only one night and got there in the dark. I saw a doe and two fawns in my flashlight beam near the cabin. The inside of the cabin was eclectic and interesting and clean. I appreciated the quiet surroundings. When I woke up, I saw misty mountains outside the kitchen window and forest outside the windows out the back. Such a lovely serene location!
Cabin was extremely clean. Had everything you would want at your fingertips. Loved the compact kitchen with all the utensils needed to prepare meals. The bathroom shower had good water pressure & plenty of hot water. Cabin bed was very comfortable & plenty of blankets. Only small disappointment the kindling wood to use in the firepit was too wet to start a fire. Maybe an outside box to cover the wood to keep it dry would help.
