"The pictures are a bit misleading. The campers along the river are pretty much side by side. Not a lot of privacy and space. You'd think when upgrading to a Premium Riverfront Camper that you'd be on the water but there is a chance you could be behind the row of campers that are on the water, which was a bit disappointing. Parking isn't big enough for everyone so it's a bit of a hassle finding a spot. Trekking down a loose gravel road all the way to your camper with a pull cart for your luggage isn't ideal. A gold cart assisted service being offered would help. I'd like to try the Hilltop campers as they seem more spread out. Overall, it is clean, family friendly and a cool idea vs. your standard hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was great, and we really appreciated all the thoughtful touches from the owner.The homemade apple pie and s’mores left for us were such a special surprise and made us feel very welcome. Those little personal touches really made our stay extra memorable.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!"

"What a gem! This is our favorite house by far! It was super clean, extremely well stocked, private, and beautiful inside and out. Excellent Weber charcoal grill! The pillows were so comfortable we plan on purchasing some. We saw turkeys, otters, and an Osprey. Thankfully no bears, but we brought spray just in case. The gravel road is well maintained and no issues in a regular manual sedan. Communication was great and checking/checkout very easy. We are definitely planning on returning. Would love to know the outhouse story and what the metal posts by the river were for. Thank you for opening your home!"

"Room & bathroom were very clean.. older hotel, but great for a quick stay. Beds were comfortable, breakfast & breakfast attendant (very nice lady) were great. Gentleman at the front desk (appeared to be manager) was very helpful and kind. We were in for ETSU family weekend. Will stay again."

"I have a new “happy place”. This beautiful spot is quiet, private, and truly feels like an escape from all else. There is no through traffic, so our only companions were the deer, bunnies, birds, a groundhog and a bald eagle. We spent so much time on the front porch just being present. The expansive outdoor surround was a perfect mix of well maintained lawn areas and natural, wild haven areas. The home is ideal for a couple or small family. We will definitely be back!"

"My stay was very good. My only negative comment is that if you're staying during walnut season, be prepared for VERY loud impacts of walnuts falling from the trees onto the metal roof over the porch. The cabin is also just above the road and has several cabins nearby, so be ready for road and neighbor traffic. Other than that, I had a lovely stay. 8.5/10"
