"We have used this hotel for several years because it is well-located for our visits. They have been fine in the past, but this year they had a major renovation on-going and that was very disruptive. They changed hallway carpet with many tenants in the building. Workers were reasonably quiet, but you had to step over construction debris and avoid stairways that had blocked doors. Bathroom urinals (not even cleaned) were left in the hallway, lobby restrooms were closed for our several days. The lobby was unusable for a full day with workers chipping and cutting tile. Breakfast was poorly done, with broken juice dispenser and no replacement, overflowing trash. The staff was very helpful, and even moved our room, but they were overwhelmed by the renovation. We'll probably not use this location again."

"I’ve now stayed at this chain in three different cities in a row — Birmingham and Montgomery, AL, and now New Jersey — and unfortunately the breakfast experience has been consistently disappointing at each location. The food often seemed either overcooked or undercooked, and many of the options felt overly processed. Since breakfast is part of the overall cost of the stay, I would hope to see some improvement in quality. That said, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and reasonably well-appointed."

"This was my worst hotel stay to date. The front desk staff is not friendly and minimally helpful. The room was free of foreign debris but in such bad repair it is deplorable. The furniture is old, outdated, stained and ripped. All of the “wooden” furniture is scratched and scuffed. The microwave is dirty. The bathroom is disgusting. The tub has hair in it that is NOT mine and the tub is filled with rust! Again the furniture is scratched and the bottom part of door is missing. The bedroom wall has 3D stuff on the wall. This is BEYOND terrible! Embassy and the Hilton Corp should be embarrassed and ashamed to be associated with this property and even more ashamed that they’re doing nothing about it. The amount of money that is being charged to be in this certifiable dump is appalling and make me angry that I have been charged my hard earned dollars for a property that has been left in disrepair and forgotten about. This is more than sad. I will question now my affiliation with Hilton as an Honors reward member because clearly THAT is a gimmick and the company doesn’t care about anything but their own bottom line and their profits. I have left a detailed Google review with pictures hoping that as many as possible will see the review and be spared! This was AWFUL!"

"Our room was awful. Mold in the shower tiles, packed dirt in the floor corners. The bed was so close to the a/c unit that it was a trip hazard. The kitchenette was empty. No pots, no utensils, no dish soap....you'd think those things would be present in an Extended stay as they were in many others we've stayed in. We won't stay there again."
