About this property

2 Bed in Camelford (oc-81245)

  • Trebarwith Strand’s pet-friendly beach is nearby with a long stretch of golden sand backed by flat rocks. The South West Coast Path is accessed from here, offering wonderful walks with views of the north coast. Close by is the medieval village of Tintagel where you can visit Tintagel Castle, one of the most spectacular historic sites in Britain, and you can walk over the stunning 60-metre bridge set between two cliffs. Visit the picture-postcard fishing village of Boscastle nearby. Other attractions and places of interest include stunning Bodmin Moor and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Slightly further afield, are the coastal villages of Port Isaac, where TV’s Doc Martin is filmed, Padstow and Rock – all well worth a visit and a haven for foodies too.

Step inside this pretty property and you will immediately find yourself in the light and welcoming open-plan kitchen/diner. Here is the perfect venue for relaxed family meals plus a door leading to the garden means that you can dine alfresco with ease. The kitchen itself provides a great range of appliances including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. From here, head further inside and into the cosy lounge area where you will find comfortable leather sofas arranged around a TV, DVD and warming wood burner. There is also an iPod dock should you wish to enjoy your favourite playlist whilst reading. Venturing up the stairs and onto the first floor, you will then discover the beautiful bedrooms, both lovingly furnished in a gorgeous contemporary country style. The first is a double bedroom with a TV and French doors to a pretty Juliet balcony, and the second a twin bedroom with zip-and-link beds (which can be made up as a super-king upon request), and a TV. Completing the offering is a fresh and contemporary shower room with shower and WC.

Head back outside and to the rear of the cottage, you will find the fabulous outside space which comprises a delightful, enclosed garden with a lawn, patio area, BBQ, hot tub and garden furniture. Private off-road parking for two cars is also provided.
