"My partner and I stayed 1 night at “the studio” and it was perfect! Liz made check in and out super easy, offering support if needed at anytime. It was clean, tidy and very cosy on a rainy winters day. Breakfast was provided with fresh eggs from the chickens on site! The scenery was also beautiful. The area is quiet, private and out of the way but only 5mins from town which was great! I would definitely stay again!"

"Janette the property manager was helpful and friendly. The property was clean and had a small indoor fireplace with plenty of wood available at no cost. We loved picking fruit from the orchard and our little dogs had an absolute ball running around the large property. The driveway was lined with trees in spectacular Autumn colour. Lots of rain for us but with Berry minutes away, we still found plenty to do and see. Thank you and we hope to be back again some day."

"We had a beautiful weekend away here! The property is stunning and right in the bush. It was a little hard to find as we arrived in the dark but was worth it. The property looked like the photos and the outdoor shower was great! The kitchen is decently stocked and the bbq works great! We would love to stay again"

"The place took me back to younger years as a teenager, when my parents would rent a house near the beach. The renovations were great. Fully stocked with everything you needed. Thanks for all the spices! Love the sofas, and you had throws. The furnishing was amazing. The beach was so nice. I would definitely recommend highly and come back again."

"Overall, an okay little house. As other reviews state, both mattresses should be replaced. One is cheap and you feel the springs clearly, and the other is long in the tooth. Fridge had been replaced, but the old one bizarrely left on the deck next to the front door (!?). BBQ dirty on arrival. Didn't use it because of that. You get what you pay for with this one. Bird droppings all over the deck."

Just a very small point, as we were staying for 6 nights we could have done with an extra towel each :) but other than that we were very impressed with the property and our stay"

"We chose to have a very quiet Xmas this year. Staying for 4 nights at Heron’s Rest was peaceful calm and serene. The surroundings and scenery are beautiful with the dam taking centre stage with lotus flowers bobbing and blooming. A glass of wine on the pontoon and watching our dog get control of her ‘Pontoon legs’ was very entertaining! We had everything we needed in the accommodation. The skyscraper loaf of bread was sublime. We would definitely return. Thanks again to our hosts."
