"A beautiful house, overlooking the river, with stunning views. Manuel was a great host and the best stocked kitchen/ house we have ever been to. We really appreciated the beers and fruit on arrival and the other goodies in the fridge. Due to the hidden location of the property you have to park a short walk away. Definitely an eat in house, nearest larger supermarket is about 20 mins drive. We caught the train to Porto and to Regua. We will miss a morning kayak, swim and breakfast on the terrace."

"We (family of 5 adults) spent a week at this fabulous property with a spectacular view over the Duoro Valley.Waiting for us upon our arrival was a nice bottle of wine and chocolates from our generous host.We used Casa Duoro Terrace as our base to visit a winery (Quinta Covela), the town of Amarante and enjoyed an afternoon boat cruise and luncheon from Regua, to mention a few of our activities, in addition to enjoying the fabulous view from the spacious terrace. Easy check-in/check-out processes and our host was very responsive to a couple of queries.We loved it."
