Night stop-over in Calais
Just wanted a one night stop whilst in Calais for a "booze cruise" - it did the job well. On the sea front, sea view (incurs extra charge) so could watch the ferries in and out of the harbour and the channel traffic. Weather was awful, so useful to have a god restaurant right next door (part of the same business). Our 2nd stay here and will use again.

Seems rather run down.Large police presence at the hotel and adjoining restaurant ( which was quite good). They seem to be using building as headquarters which made leaving the car full of stuff in the car park quite safe,

Property was clean but concerned about the electrics as the sockets came out of the wall when you plugged and unplugged anything. There was also terrible smell from the bathroom drains. Noisy outside till late.

We only stayed overnight, as it was a stop on the way elsewhere. Room was clean, comfy and it was a good price. Would use hotel again.

Beach front and family friendly
Very good position beach front with several play areas and activities for kids nearby. But beds not so comfortable and not so big, no lift so not easy with kids and pushchairs, no cutlery in the kitchen, but room is okay and convenient restaurant expensive for what it offers, we prefer eating at flunch and the kids love it!

A room with a view, but cold
The room and creature comforts were minimal. It is just a beach holiday type accommodation but space was very tight, it was difficult to sleep well in the cold area with insufficient bedding.

Basic but comfortable
We have stayed in for a few years for 1 night whilst on wine run. The hotel is basic but comfortable and quiet. The colour of the rooms could do with making neutral and a little TLC would improve the rooms. However we do return every year due to price, location and the attached restaurant is very good without having to go offsite which is a bonus after a long day of travelling and wine buying.

Stayed in room 326 for 2 nights. Mattress 6 inches narrower then bed base.No working vents in bathroom or toilet.No smoke alarms in room.No cutlery/crockery provided to have own food eg. breakfast.No English channels on TV. On plus side room clean and restaurant next door very good value (good sized portions )and relatively cheap. Would I stay there again?.Possibly not as quite a long walk from town centre

Good value and next to beach
Hotel clean, good facilities and shower was amazing. Refurbishment done but lacking finishing touches. Think it’s still underway though. Great location opposite beach. Restaurant at sister hotel next door was good value and plenty of choice.

Not a great stay despite being close to beach.
Broken lights, only 2 chairs at the table in a four bed room, very tired decor and quite grotty. Old threadbare bedcovers. I expected basic for the price but expect things to work and be comfortable.

Not as good as it was
Have stayed at this hotel a number of times, but will not do so again. The bed was very uncomfortable, mattress too small for the bed frame and very thin. English TV channels were not available despite being advertised. WiFi did not work most of the time and when it did connect was so slow that pages timed out before loading. The local police use the hotel for lodgings and kept us awake till 1am (they seemed to be having a party) Breakfast very basic -no hot food available, just baguettes and cold croissants, cereal and very stewed coffee. Evening meal was ok but when we tried to stay for a drink afterwards all the lights were turned off at about 9.30 pm and second night when we came back at 9pm the whole building was shut up and in darkness.

Not worth the money
Poor room, bed very uncomfortable and mattress did not fit the frame. Unable to read in bed as no lights next to it. No English channels on the TV. And not prepared to deal with this. After our meal, the staff wanted you to leave and turned the lights down when my husband an friend stayed for drinks.

Not fit for humans
The hotel is a disgrace we booked room with kitchen cost us in total 90 euros. First room was infested with ants they new this because they had traps set. Second room fridge didn't work and kettle didn't work so kitchen was no good I want a refund

Arrived late in the evening checked in very quickly and shown my room which was clean and spacious I left early so didn't have breakfast A good stay which was great value

Perfect for the price. Very roomy & fantastically close to the beach. Fridge was a great bonus - only thing that would have been great was to supply cutlery/crockery (available for additional fee)

Great spot to stop off before crossing the channel
We stopped off here on the way home to the UK. The hotel is on the seafront, next door to the hotel de la plage which is a bar and restaurant that provides excellent breakfasts for guests and meals at lunchtime or evenings. The hotel also accepts dogs and our two were most welcome. It is a great location and only moments from the Eurotunnel and ferry port.

Recent visit to France
I was surprised when we arrived at the hotel, nice sea view and good amenities in the room, Fridge, Microwave, electric rings and the room was comfortable.

lovely location
We had a 4 night stay and were pleasently surprised.we had an amazing sea view and its only a 15 min walk into the centre which has lots of lovely bars and resterauntS. The room was basic but very clean and had maid service daily. Breakfast was continental only but still good value. Rooms have self catering facilities but there are no pans/plates/cutlery etc?.. reception limited times but very friendly, I would go back to this hotel, great value for money.

Quiet and comfortable with great Channel views
An annual trip with my brother to collect wine - we have been staying at this hotel for a number of years. It is very convenient to Eurotunnel, the wine warehouse and Cite Europe. The rooms are clean and comfortable, have been looking tired but are obviously being refurbished. A short walk to a very good restaurant! Breakfast OK, coffee could have been hotter!
