"A bit of a strange experience when spending £250 for the night. No staff to great you and explain how everything works and nothing in the room either not even a bottle of water. Just a text message with door code and key left in an envelope. The street and those surrounding were very quiet. For a woman travelling alone I didn’t want to venture further a field to find somewhere to eat so had to make do with a snack bar in my bag and water from the bathroom tap. "The grounds were exquisite and the pool area was a paradise. Overlooking an olive grove, with beautiful day beds. This is a place for folks who want to relax quietly and read. The dinner was so-so. I recommend exploring the area for dinner. A car is needed!"
"Uns hat es super gefallen. Der Pool Bereich und die gesamte Unterkunft ist sehr schön und alles sehr sauber. Zum Frühstück gibt es frisches Obst, Joghurt, Marmelade, Nutella und Müsli. Außerdem kann man noch Ei (Spiegel, Rühr oder gekocht) bestellen und auch Avocado oder Oliven gibt es ab und zu. Zudem Kaffee und frisch gepresster O-Saft. Auch glutenfrei hat super geklappt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Alle waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. "

"The hotel is amazing, perfect for a break away to do nothing and relax. The buffet has a great selection. The staff are attentive and constantly clearing up. The Mediterranean restaurant is okay, the Italian wasn’t very good at all. All inclusive is the way forward for value for money. Would definitely stay at another of the resorts elsewhere. Some bits need a bit of TLC like silicone around shower tray and a few missing tiles in the pool, but nothing to cut yourself on or dangerous. The views into the cove beach are stunning! "

The atmosphere was great, could get a sunbed round the pool any time of day (no need to reserve sunbeds)
The breakfast was excellent, great selection and could always get a table.
The rooftop terrace bar and restaurant was spot on, such a good vibe. Live music from Friday-Sunday.

Marina is a 5 min drive or 25-30 min walk and has loads of restaurant options as well.
Order an airport transfer through the hotel in advance and was roughly 80 euros each way which was cheaper than private transfers.

"It’s located in a quiet are but just a short walk from the restaurants and beaches. We stayed in the annexe on the second floor overlooking the pool. No problem getting sunbeds.
The corridors and rooms are in very good condition and the shower in the bathroom was good. The air conditioning in our room was the best I have had on a holiday - quiet and effective "

"We have really enjoyed our stay at Azul Gardens, as a young couple we wanted 2 weeks of relaxation in a self catering apartment, the facilities allowed us to do exactly that.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly.
I requested a ground floor apartment prior to our arrival, due to being pregnant, the hotel very kindly arranged this for me, with a room right by reception. We were also really grateful for the arrangement they made for our late check out, again with being pregnant in the heat I was really anxious at the thought of not having a room all day, Jose very kindly moved things around for me and made it possible for us to stay.
The location is fantastic, everything is on the doorstep, lovely restaurants and so many small Spar supermarkets. However I would recommend walking down to the end of the road, about a 8 minute walk, to the Hiper Dino supermarket as it’s so much cheaper!
2 gorgeous beaches nearby, Esmeralda doesn’t have sunloungers but Ferrera does. Google maps says Cala Ferrera is a 12 minute walk, it’s not, there’s a cut through you can’t miss and only takes 5 minutes.
A few things to mention is that this is a VERY busy family resort, so if you are looking for peace and quiet round the pool this may not be for you. There are more loungers than parasols so you will need to be down to save a bed with a parasol before 10am if you want one, towels are removed if left unattended. And no ironing facilities "
