Welcome to Bear House, your private and comfortable waterfront Catskills retreat designed for relaxation and fun. This secluded getaway is a wonderful place to make memories, whether you're soaking in the illuminated hot tub under the stars or gathering around the firepit on cool evenings.

You’ll also be perfectly located for exploring the best of the region. Scenic drives bring you to Catskill, Hudson, East Durham, Windham, Hunter, Tannersville, Woodstock, and Saugerties — all known for excellent restaurants, antiquing, art galleries, shopping, and sightseeing.

The Living Space
Step inside the bright and welcoming open-plan living area, thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection.

Living Room: Unwind by the cozy fireplace and stream your favorite shows on the 65” Smart TV with AirPlay.

Kitchen: The fully equipped gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream, featuring a large island with barstool seating — perfect for morning coffee, meal prep, or evening conversations.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms:After a day of adventure, rest peacefully in three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with memory-foam mattresses, cotton sheets, and plush, luxurious bedding.

Primary Suite: A spa-like retreat with a king bed, soaking tub, oversized shower, heated Brondell bidet, and double sinks.

Great family get away

Very Clean

We recently stayed here and I have to say it was the cleanest property we have stayed at. It was very comfortable and the children enjoyed having the hot-tub and ping pong table.

Laid Back Girl’s Weekend

This was the perfect house for our girls weekend. The house was cozy, and we all had space to curl up with a good book in the living room. Downstairs had a plethora of fun board games- and the hosts were attentive and quick to respond. Would highly recommend.

Cairo House

This property was perfect. The house was exceptionally clean and inviting. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the hot tub and ping pong table. The property was centrally located so we were able to enjoy days in Hudson and Windham. It was a great way to ring in the New Year with family and friends.

A Truly Cozy Getaway with Friends

This place is such a great value—beautiful, private, well thought out. Upon entering the cozy home, we were greeted with warmth and comfort. House has everything you need to make you feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the well-equipped kitchen. We prepared delicious meals and enjoyed our creations in the charming dining area. I recommend this house to anyone seeking a cozy getaway with friends and family.

Birthday weekend

Mile stone weekend for birthdays. We had a wonderful time in Hudson for the day. Which was an extremely hot day!! It was wonderful to come to the house sit on the deck and enjoy the pool. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. Wonderful time. Thank you.
