Hotel is well managed with a responsive staff. The location is in a quiet diplomatic area of Zamalek within an easy walk to the more bustling areas, so felt very secure and safe. The property and room itself is a bit dated although still reasonably well maintained and clean.
A nice comfortable hotel with super friendly staff. We stayed five nights and were very fortunate to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite overlooking the Nile. Very nice place and quiet for a good night sleep. Zemalek is a nice part of the city with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast buffet was quite extensive and good. My only complaint was the coffee that could stand with being improved :-) Highly recommend this hotel. There are coffee shops nearby although I never had time to check them out with our busy schedule of sightseeing.
Besides being a rather dated hotel, bathrooms especially, everything else, service, staff, Location, was top draw.
Perhaps a 4.5 would be more realistic.
Cleanliness, friendly staff, breakfast, and security!

Very friendly staff, absolute perfect location on quite safe street and best neighbourhood, great view and nice breakfast.
It’s an older hotel - which I find charming - but also means the interior of room does not seems super clean.
Good room in great location quiet neighborhood but the room feels old and need upgrades specially the carpet and furniture, checkin was long due to one employee helping another customer so I had to wait longer after a very long trip, the breakfast was great and worth it, great view to the river, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel
Very large apartment with everything in functioning order although looking just a bit dated but well maintained. Kitchen looks like it belonged to a former live-in apartment. Superior breakfast nice pool with Nile view
I stayed at Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residences and overall the location is quite good — Zamalek is a nice, convenient area to stay in Cairo.
Unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted by one issue. I asked the hotel to help arrange a dinner at the Maxim Nile Cruise, and they also organized transportation. I was charged $50 one way for the taxi, while the same ride via Uber costs only around €2–3. This felt like a significant overcharge and left me with the feeling of being scammed.
Because of this experience, I can only give two stars. The rest of the stay was okay, but this issue had a big impact on my overall impression.
Amazing hotel, highly recommend. Staff were amazing, location was perfect.

Room was old and outdated but clean. We expected more luxury and modern accommodations for the price we paid. The service was also mediocre, we had to ask for the same thing multiple times. Location is excellent though!
Firstly I would like to say a BIG thank you to Farida the duty manager, she is a star, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and hassle free. She also suggested few things which made our trip even more memorable.
The views from our suite was incredible especially at night and we enjoyed our stay.
Although the property can go with some modernisation but the service and help provided was exceptional.
We have stayed at the two bedroom suite for several nights as a family. We had enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean, safe, offers good dining options (especially the Japanese restaurant is great), great breakfast and gym. Our suite had a fully equipped kitchen with the washer. The area around the hotel is nice, safe and probably one of the best in Cairo, but it is still not the place where you enjoy the walk: it’s still quite dirty, the sidewalks are narrow, the pavement is in poor condition, etc). The staff is doing a good but not perfect job. Sometimes you have to ask for something twice, but it gets done.
