Adventure Sport Hotels & Resorts in Cairns from NZ$136

everything about this property was lovely. only thing, kids could find the gaming console (not that i minded lol) and the ad made it sound like the pool was just outside but infact its a small stroll down the road. still enjoyed our swim etc but was one of the deciding factors to stay here when we thought the pool was right there. But that's nothing major, everything else was as described and beds were comfy. would recommend :)

I stayed at the hotel with 6 other family members and we all enjoyed our time spent there together. Our rooms were clean well maintained, staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was central and we were able to walk to lots of food outlets and close to the water front also. We enjoyed our breakfast and some food and drinks here also.

The Sebel is definitely one of the upmarket hotels. The rooms are spacious with huge king size beds, as well as a full kitchen; some even have washing machines and dryers incorporated into them. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing seems to much for them to see to. Only a short walk/drive to the beach to indulge oneself at one of the cafes/restaurants - all with a #1 view of the ocean, fringed by palm trees, white sand and the sound of the waves. Exquisite!

I loved staying at Reef House. The grounds are beautiful and we especially loved the mineral pool and spa. The bed is very comfy and the location is great. We would definitly come again!

We had the king suite. Our room was very spacious and clean. The mountain views were nice. Air conditioning works great. There is Beam e-scooter hire parking at the front of the hotel. The bar is nice. Only tip to know is sometimes when you swipe your room key, if turning the handle down doesn’t work try turning it up (counter clockwise) something the front desk told us after we had trouble.

If you want a quiet well apponted 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the Coral sea (through palm trees) where the surf life saver part of the beach is literally 40 paces from the front of the property with all the facilities you need, and well serviced by Gerald and his attentive team you will not be disappointed. If you need to have really fast streaming by wifi and superb Telstra mobile connectivity you've clearly not come for a super relaxing heaven sent holiday. Any reasonable person will be...

Very nice place and value for money.

Kitchen facilities were great. Security was great. The pools were fantastic. Beds were a bit soft. The light from outside the property made me wake up throughout the night as I thought it was morning all of the time.

It was a great time also our engagement almost got spilt due to the older lady at the front desk when we checked in. Lucky my parents wasn’t listening to what she said… Overall we loved thala and will be back. Thanks for the great experience!

Although the property is a bit dated, it was very clean overall, except that some of the cutlery wasn’t as clean as expected. The facilities were well equipped, and the garden was beautiful. We especially enjoyed relaxing and having meals on the deck, which was very comfortable. Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time here.

Really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return. We stayed with 3 young children and enjoyed our stay. Even though the facilities are a bit older this place had a lovely vibe and atmosphere really loved it.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with honest and friendly advice on the hotel's services, places of interest including available tours and being shown around our room. Nice to have some good old-fashioned service.

Service: Outstanding; Cleanliness: Immaculate; It was those extra little things like pool toys, DVD's for the kids that makes this place stand out from others.
