Locatie en hoe de tuinen er uit zien is echt heel mooi. Doordat de floating market niet echt meer bestaat is het aantal toeristen erg terug gelopen. Daardoor is het onderhoud aan het hotel ook minder geworden. Super jammer want het zou echt geweldig kunnen zijn.

Amazing staff, great location. But: Was not good value for money, compared to other Vietnam hotels. Very dated hotel, in need of update. A lot of trash around gardens. The food was very average. General style and decor of resort a bit barren and dated. Inadequate English of many staff (other than duty manager who was excellent). When I called ahead, the receptionist spoke inadequate English to guide me to how to get to the hotel. We did a cooking course that was o.k., but again minimal English so didn’t learn anything and not much of an ‘experience’. Would recommend if half the price, but at current price point there are wayyyyy better places in Mekong.

Schöne Hotelanlage im Grünen, etwas außerhalb von Cai Be. Fahrräder können jederzeit kostenlos angemietet werden um die nahe Umgehung zu erkunden. Ausflüge werden gegen Gebühr vom Hotel organisiert. Erholung findet man im schönen Pool- und Spa-Bereich.

alles voor een super verblijf

Prachtige plek, aan alles gedacht, lief personeel . De manager zet alles in werk voor een op maat gemaakt verblijf, regelt tours, checkt de persoonlijke wensen, vertelt enthousiast over hun lodge nodigde m’n zoon uit te gaan vissen en vangst ging naar keuken, groente en fruit werden door ons zelf geplukt uit tuin, kok wist er mooi menu van te maken, zelfs een menukaartje werd er gemaakt, hoe persoonlijk en onvergetelijke ervaring! Massage aanrader, zwembad mooi, alles goed onderhouden, fijne kamer, schoon, lekkere matrassen. Kortom een aanrader !

Quiet location on the Mekong River

We were here in the off season. There were only a few huts occupied, so the area was peaceful and serene. We loved sleeping under the mosquito net, which was romantic, albeit really necessary as the air outside the hut was probably teeming with insects. The food in the restaurant was disappointing, except for the breakfast. Lunch and dinner seemed to be very ordinary and over priced for what was offered. The resort is quite a way from other restaurants, although transport was available to take guests to other venues. The services offered in the spa were excellent - especially the full body massage (which was conducted in an open air pavilion surrounded by lotus covered ponds - a bit disconcerting at first, but towels were draped over the body at all times, so modesty was preserved). The resort organised a 3 hour dawn cruise of the floating markets. The resort launch was set up for the two of us to breakfast while we pottered around the Mekong. The highlight of the tour was being rowed around the islands of the Mekong in the peaceful morning calm.

Great for family stay

Facility is clean and staff is friendly. We can enjoy beautiful mekong nature. There also have some activities for kids like fishing, kayaking, swiming pool etc. Also the taste of restaurante is nice.

Hotel avec massage au milieu de l'étang

Hotel avec vue sur le Mekong Piscine très sympa Les massages sur le ponton au milieu de l'étang couvert de nénuphar et un vrai régal A faire avant 18H00 ou après 10H00 dû aux moustiques Vue la faible affluence début mai cela rend le site encore plus tranquille et zen. Ils fournissent des vélos confortables pour les balades.

Cadre exceptionnel en bordure du Mékong, grand calme, dépaysement absolu en venant de Ho Chi Minh ville. très bonnes excursions privées organisées par l hôtel. Hotel style eco lodge. Personnel efficace et souriant. Un séjour de rêve. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Großartiger Blick vom Zimmer auf den Mekong

Das Resort besticht durch seine Lage direkt am Ufer des Mekong. Wir hatten wunderbar entspannte Tage dort und genossen es, den in der Ferner vorbeiziehenden Schiffes zuzuschauen. Der Aufpreis für den Riverview lohnt sich. Großartig ist auch der Pool und die parkartige Gartenanlage. Das Restaurant ist gut, wenn auch nicht sehr gut.

wunderschönes Hotel Resort - Entspannung pur!

Das Hotel ist wunderschön am Fluss gelegen. Die Bungalows einfach aber funktional und schön eingerichtet mit Klimaanlage und Moskitonetz über dem Bett. Es hat einen herzigen Balkon mit zwei Liegestühlen einem Tisch und sogar Stromanschluss draussen. Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist gross und geräumig mit einer riesigen Terrasse zum Fluss hin mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Die Karte umfangreich (auch Weinkarte) und das Essen hervorragend. Das Personal sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Es hat einen schönen grossen Pool mit Liegestühlen und Schirmen, sowie Badetücher. Im Poolbereich ist auch der Spa angegliedert, wo man Outdoor Massagen zu vernünftigen Preisen geniessen kann. Die Anlage ist 100% Bio und absolut ruhig gelegen, ideal zum Runterfahren. (Nur die Schiffe auf dem Fluss machen zeitweise etwas Lärm) Es stehen auch hoteleigene Velos zur Verfügung, die man für den kurzen Ritt (10 Mi.) ins nahe Dorf (zum Markt und floating Markt, sehr interessant) kostenlos ausleihen kann. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort absteigen, ein wirklich schönes Hotel für alle Naturverbundenen, ruhesuchenden Reisenden abseits des Mainstreams.

Le Mékong à perte de vue

Séjour du 23/08/2016 : Privilégiez les bungalows donnant sur le lac intérieur, ils ont de facto également la vue sur le Mekong sans le bruit. Les plus : Restaurant donnant directement sur le Mekong, la piscine, les vélos gratuits, la terrasse des bungalows. Les moins : Accès au resort pas facile. Nous y retournerons sans heister.

Wonderful hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Mekong Riverside. The view over the river from our private balcony, the big and beautiful garden, the kayaks, the food, everything was in perfect order, making our stay a great holiday for us and our two children.

Fantastisk til afslapning

Dejligt Resort til afslapning og forkælelse. Bungalows på pæle. Dejlig pool og mulighed for benytte muligheden for spa/massage mod betaling. Fantastisk restaurant med et stort udvalg. Man skal prøve fisken "Elephant EarFish" som serveres ved bordet og anrettes i spring rolls. God tur på båd i Mekong Deltaet og bådsejlads ind i mangroven. Cai Be floating market var ikke særlig stort. Selve byen er hurtig overset men hyggeligt at besøge byens marked.

Schöne Anlage mit etwas Verbesserungspotential

Schöne Anlage direkt am Mekong; bemühtes und freundliches Personal, jedoch mit meist geringen Englischkenntnissen, was die Kommunikation etwas erschwert; schöne Zimmer, doch hat die Klimaanlage nicht richtig funktioniert und es gab Ameisen im Zimmer; guter Pool; Fahrräder zum Ausleihen; leider vernieten sie keine Mopeds, somit ist es schwierig, die weitere Region auf eigene Faust zu erkunden.

A beautiful garden to relax

A small road in a beautiful tropical forest led us to the gate of the resort. Inside we found ponds, trees, bushes rich with flowers on our way to the reception. We got the warmest welcome, and a very detailed explanation of the resort services. We were escorted to an overwater bongallow overlooking the river. The room was of good size, the bed complete with mosquito net. The shower room has a glass wall which is also river facing, the glass is seethrough above shoulder height, so a great view of the river can be enjoyed while having a shower. From the room you can step out to your small private balcony. The river is busy with cargo ships, I loved to watch them sipping my coffee. After having seen all this we immediately decided to extend our stay with one more night. The resort also has a lovely pool surrounded with palm trees, and two overwater bungallows in a wonderful lake where foot and body massage is offered. There is a riverside restaurant as well, with nice food and a great breakfast. I can definitely recommend this resort, it's unique, beautiful, friendly. I hope I'll get the chance to visit it again.
