"Beautiful room and hotel, very secure and comfortable with lots of takeaways and coffee shops adjacent, the breakfast was lovely and the only issue I could name was that it was incredibly warm in the room, however the hotel does provide a Dyson fan which was a great benefit while pointed directly at us but it really didn’t cool the room at all, and while trying to sleep is far too loud. Air con would be a massive bonus on warmer days, but aside from that 5* accommodation and we will 100% return, especially given the standard for the price point. "

The owner Justin lives next door and is quickly responsive to any questions or requests - he truly goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are satisfied. "This very charming, historic site served as a wonderful «centralized base » for exploring Cashel, Tipperary, Kilkenny and Cork, allowing us to do multiple day trips to these cities. More than enough room for the 4 of us, could easily fit two families of four. Though the age of the property comes with some quirks, would definitely recommend!"

"Maginstown house is perfect for large family groups. It is beautifully quiet and yet in easy reach of lots of interesting towns, cities and countryside. The house is brilliantly equipped with everything you could possibly need, including of basic kitchen staples. Nicholas is an excellent, thoughtful host for whom nothing is too much trouble. A gem of a place! "
