"Loved the quiet, secluded waterfront setting even though it was a little tricky to navigate the "off the beaten path" route to get there. Drive is a little steep. "We had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. We fished off the dock and caught a wide variety of fish, but we had better luck and caught larger fish in the evening. A huge storm came through and the host kept in contact to make sure we were ok. We ended our stay short because of the county wide loss of power but definitely plan on coming back."

"It was a cabin home we would want for ourselves. It was very nostalgic for both my husband and I. It was far enough away that you could hear nothing, but close enough to get to what we needed. "Wish we had a way to control the weather. The week had thunderstorms and tornado threats most of the week. That caused lake levels to be 2 to 3 ft higher than normal, a very unusual occurrence, according to locals. The house was very comfortable. The spiral staircase was a little bit of a child hazard, but there was a gate at the top of the stairs (2 yr old figured out how to unlock within the first hour in the house and still no mishaps.) We appreciated the thoughtful ammenities (coffee, water in fridge,etc) and the well-cared for kitchenware.
