Fun getaway
We fell in love with this little place. It’s conveniently located. The owners were great and helpful. We will definitely be back. The one and only tiny complaint, they only had Netflix and no local channels. However I’m not there to watch tv (unless going to bed to relax) so I wasn’t very bothered by it. Can’t wait to go back!!

Lovely Stay
We loved everything about the Lazy Buffalo! It was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary. The iron door cabin was perfect for the two of us. We really appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks and especially the extra goodies that were left for us, for our anniversary. The Lazy Buffalo is such a quaint and peaceful place and in such a beautiful area. We will definitely be going back.

Fun and relaxing!
This was one of the best vacations we've had. The bed was so comfortable. Everything was there that we needed and more. Loved sitting by the fire and really enjoyed the old truck in the back of the place for star gazing. They thought of everything when they built this unique place!

Valentine's Day getaway
My wife and I enjoyed our stay the Lazy Buffalo. It was close enough drive to the Wichita Wildlife Refuge for our hiking trips and then into Lawton for evening dinners. The cabin was roomy enough for the two of us. I could not get the TV remote to work to watch local news and weather reports.

Very cute and comfortable!
The cabin was rustic but cute and comfortable. It is on the outskirts of the Wichita Wildlife Refuge offering great hiking opportunities. It was very quiet and peaceful. I really appreciated the bottled water!

Great Little Cabin
Great spot to stay! Clean, safe, simple checking/out. The only Cons: walls aren’t insulated very well, we could hear our neighbors as if they were standing inside our room. But, we were there to hike the Refuge, so it only mattered at night. A good thing to know, however, in case you’re traveling with someone who might be sensitive to noise. Would definitely stay here again. Overall a great experience!

The Lazy Buffalo Weekend
Not even five minutes down the road we saw buffalo and steer over and over again. It was an awesome experience. The Lazy Buffalo is very close to Medicine Park and the Wichita Mountains. We went Mount Scott and watched a gorgeous sunset. WE played corn hole and just had a really nice time.

Quiet Escape for our Honeymoon
This was a great place to stay, with so much character and history. We enjoyed the rustic cabin setting, but enjoyed having the refrigerator and microwave. The complimentary water and snacks were appreciated, as we came in late and still had stuff we could snack on.

Great place to stay if you want to hike in the Wichita mountains!
Very clean, comfortable, and homey. Close to hiking trails and wildlife. The only down side is walls are thin and you can hear the other guests somewhat, but it's not a deal breaker. Would stay there again.

Staying at the Lazy Buffalo in the Iron Door Cabin Cache Oklahoma
They have gone above and beyond in detail. Super cute cabins each with a different name. They are located next to the Wichita Mts and Wild life refuge. At the cabins there's a fire pit with plenty on setting a patio for cooking your own food. Board game to play while sitting in rocking chairs on the front porch. Lawn chairs in the back of an old pickup for star gazing. There's an event center for larger groups. Each cabin has a kitchenette with complimentary bottled water, coffee pot with coffee and snacks paper plates and plastic ware. There's WIFI / Netflix. Walk in shower shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. Ours had a king size bed with memory foam mattress. There are alot of cool things to see near by. Walking trails, Buffalo, Elk, prairie dogs. Definitely a worthwhile place to check out.

Everything was simple and cute in the cabin. Its a great place for a tiny get away. My only thing I didn't care too much for were the sheets. The sheets were the thicker material that make you hot. But overall great place!

We loved our stay at The Lazy Buffalo. Our cabin was super clean. The owner was very helpful and responsive. The location was terrific - so close to Wichita Mountain National Wildlife Refuge. The decor was unique - a nice change from boring cookie-cutter motels. And, we really appreciated the huge modern shower and the king size bed with a great mattress.
