"It is the third time I have stayed in that hotel and it’s a very comfortable very nice and really cozy. Small hotel that I genuinely enjoy staying at. I will definitely return in another opportunities as I really enjoy the zone in this hotel is a great alternative to stay there without being overly expensive."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay here and are already planning to come back next year! The resort exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Everything was extremely clean, neat, and very well maintained. The rooms were spacious, conveniently located, and comfortable, which made traveling with kids so much easier. We traveled as three families with children ages 6, 7, and 8, and we always felt extremely safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. The kiddie pool area was fantastic, especially the shaded covered section where parents could comfortably sit and watch the kids even during the hottest parts of the day. The main pool was also beautiful and relaxing. Another pleasant surprise was the food. We genuinely enjoyed everything we ate. Yes, there is a buffet, which naturally repeats some dishes throughout the week, but they also have menu options that were excellent. The Eggs Benedict were wonderful, and the cheeseburgers were honestly incredible. The location is amazing - literally right across the small dirt road from the beach. The waves were stronger than we expected, so we watched the kids carefully, but they still had an amazing time. The service was outstanding. Scott, the regional director, was constantly checking on guests and making sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. Overall, we truly had an amazing experience and highly recommend this resort for families! "

"It was a nice budget place. Beds were pretty comfortable and AC worked well. Staff was very helpful when we needed to change rooms due to loud music being played directly behind our room. Pool was clean but a little overchlorinated. Hammocks were all wet and smelly. Need to be replaced or cleaned. We would probably come again though. Being right by the ocean and in walking distance from good eats was great You can even walk to Playa Con Chal or get a quad taxi."

"Overall, my stay at Casa del de Toro in Playa Flamingo was enjoyable. It was nice to be away but not to far away from things to do. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and overall very helpful. The room was clean and the AC kept the temperature at a reasonable level. "

"I would highly recommend staying at Guanacaste Lodge! It is a simple, older property that you can see is very well maintained. The room and property are extremely clean and comfortable. The hostess is very sweet and helpful and the breakfast is super! There is no shade at the pool or lounge chairs in midday so be prepared for extremely hot! There are covered tables for picnic. Super close to Playa Flamingo and very good food. Ate at the Tiki and Pleamar, both very good food & service and very close to the lodge."
